Very accommodating about extending time on site due to busy weekend.
Neither of us is as young as we used to be and usually we avoid Holiday parks which tend to be noisy and busy but we really enjoyed our stay at Cofton. Our site was spacious and afforded us fine views of the surrounding beautiful countryside. The walk over the hill to Dawlish Warren was taxing bur beautiful and the young staff on the site were helpful and cheerful. The overpowerful jet of hot water in the dish washing area lost the toilet facilities one star.
Great location. Well kept site. Lovely indoor and outdoor pools. We visit a couple of times a year.
What a fabulous site It has everything you could need The toilets and showers are modern clean and warm The indoor pool is great although there is a charge The outdoor pool was closed as it is Jan! The cafe/bar/ restaurant area has soft play pool tables and table football and is modern clean and welcoming The food and drink are reasonably priced There is also a bar with live entertainment on Fridays but we didn’t use it
A lively site with huge spacious pitches. It was other campers that caused problems. We had our table stolen from our pitch, it is easily identifiable so we found it and told the staff where it was - they were completely uninterested. So beware, thieves can stay here unchallenged. Due to this we won’t be back. Trustworthiness is VITAL on campsites. Other than this lack of security this would be a great site. Dreadfully packed in the school hols I imagine.
Brill site had several long stays over the few years good for disabled slight hilly entry but manageable easy access to town shops etc on site chip shop excellent all cooked fresh as a retired chip shop owner I would go to Cofton a just for the cod and chips.fishing lakes well stocked on site fishing shop well stocked restaurant great with Sunday carvery.to many details to mention go yourself you will not be disappointed.
Well-maintained site with comprehensive facilities; larger than sites we usually use, but we enjoyed most of the amenities on offer. The outdoor pool and surrounds were beautifully maintained and very attractive. We used the shop and the \'pub\' on site, which were both reasonably priced. If you\'re keen on fishing, there are four well-stocked lakes on site; we explored the area on bikes and it was easy to cycle to Dawlish and Starcross. Great bus service to Exeter and Teignmouth; we really enjoyed our stay here and would return in the future.
On site May 2018. This was the first time I have stayed on such a large campsite and it came as a very pleasant surprise. All the staff were very professional and welcoming, the whole site was immaculate and the pitches are spacious. The toilet and shower blocks are to a very high standard. The on-site pub is excellent. I can’t find any faults with Cofton so have given it a straight full marks.
Stayed here for 9 days. Still quite busy but plenty of room, I don't think it would be so good in August when all pitches full. The pitches were OK, large enough but open and set on terraces throughout the site, reasonable level, but need blocks. The toilet blocks were very good, hot water and sweet smelling. Drawback was no toilet brushes which meant some leftovers until cleaned again. The entertainment block was good, food and drink available in a variety of venues. The Sunday lunch was really good, best crispy roasties. Unfortunately outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool looked to be suitable for small children. There was a gym and steam/sauna at extra charge. Local area is good for walking and cycling with good woodland on site to explore. Exeter only a short distance, good P+R's
