We stayed here to explore Cantabria and Asturias and for that it was good. We were put on a pitch next to the bins luckily they were not smelly. The terrace setup allowed for good views of the Pico de Europa. The toilets were constantly cleaned and as a result always smelled like bleach but for showering with kids not that great as not enough room in the showers to put clothes and towels. The hard football pitch was great for our son to play and make friends and our daughter enjoyed the playground.
Spent a week here. Really well maintained site with well defined pitches many with own water and drainage. Toilet facilities absolutely spotless and up to date. Restaurant nicely presented with excellent food though slightly more expensive than in neighbouring villages. Pool a bit small for size of site but lovely beaches within 5/10 minutes drive. Santander easy drive within 1 hour.
Sayed for 14 nights .An excellent site in every respect with extremely helpful owner and staff. As has already been said the toilet and facilities are immaculate and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned! Be careful arriving if using Sat Nav wait until you see the entrance clearly marked Oyambre. Large outfits (twin axles or motor homes ) using electricity and water on the top tier pitches will find it tight to leave from some pitches. A mover for twin axles will invariably be a must. The restaurant and menu we found to be of a high standard for the price and the local wine most enjoyable! Easy drive to Santander port and beautiful surrounding scenery and coast. All in all a lovely site whether as a stopover or longer visit.
A large busy site which is very well run with good facilities. The toilet facilities are spotless and seem to have permanent cleaners all day. Staff in reception were very helpful showing us available pitches and explaining about the local area. Beach is flat and sandy and is an easy walk from the site. We cycled to Comillas which is a very pretty town with many historic buildings including Gaudi\'s.
Most has been said before. Missed however is the German Shepherd that lives across the road at house where lady died last year (according to site owner) and is left there by family for security. It has a tendency to sleep all day and bark all night. I do mean ALL NIGHT and very close to many of the touring pitches. Site owner can do nothing about it apparently. Some nice new terraces built with views to mountains. Still too soft for heavy motorhomes and no shade but will become really the place to be. If no dog (and we\'ve spent a few months listening to Spanish dogs at night so fairly bulletproof) and we\'d have stayed more than three days. In the current situation that was enough. Might be worth checking noise before you go but if a sound sleeper then it\'ll be lovely.
This is our idea of a perfect, faultless campsite in which everything comes together: wonderful, friendly reception, beautifully maintained facilities and pitches, well placed with a 15 mins walk over a quiet back road to a very long beach at low tide (it says no dogs, but everyone appears to ignore it). We had two great meals, original, freshly cooked with lovely ingredients, menu at €15, and we can recommend the house red wine, excellent. Everything delivered by friendly, welcoming staff. If only more campsites were like this... Would certainly recommend and return to! Perfect for all age groups.
We stayed here for two nights in the Campervan. The site had a large number of GB visitors due to the proximity to Santander. Pitches are well proportioned but with limited privacy. Wifi is available across the whole site. Staff were very helpful. Facilities were excellent. There is a small shop with local fresh produce in the bar area eg cheese, milk, eggs etc. The restaurant serves excellent meals which we enjoyed both nights. We visited San Vincente de la Barquera ( castle shut in a Monday!). Nearby Comillas is well worth a visit. We discovered it almost by accident and had a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable wander through the quiet streets, marvelling at the architecture.

Very comfortable site with clean well appointed wash areas. Beautiful surroundings and views and close walks to view the majesty of the Atlantic swells. The Picos De Europa walks are superb.

Staff wonderful waiting for our late arrival in the dark and very helpful leaving us to settle for night on the road by our pitch. Facilities excellent although weather poor, still very clean. Lovely, good value, well presented meal on site. On day when clouds were high, views of the snow capped Picos de Europa were stunning. Comillas with the Gaudi house worth a visit.
