Travelling party: Seniors

We parked in a large field not far from the showers and toilets. The campsite and facilities are well looked after. Although it is steep to access the sea there is a lovely bike ride to Port Eyton for fish and chips.

Arrived on a Tuesday and very quite. Beautiful views. From the Friday packed out, noisy (day and very late evening past quiet time), balls being kicked all around us. The site had not opened up further fields which would have reduced the problem(?)
Recomend going well offseason and not weekends. Pool although not used looked good when it was quiet. Metered electric and you are given 4KW a day which was fine in the ACSI price. Do not expect to use electric heating in this. Possible to walk down to beach via a steep path.
Directions not very good for caravans due to narrow roads/parked cars, difficult to pass cyclists. Best way is via the A4118 but make sure you stay on though Knelston and Scurlage.

Wonderful views and location for visiting lovely nearby beaches and also the South Wales costal area.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for a wet and windy half term week with other family members. Toilet block relatively clean but cold both in temperature (heater set at 10°c) and luke warm showers. Despite being on hardstanding awning is on grass and got very boggy.

Nice situation on the beautiful lovely bay,staff is very helpful , Toilet block is clean . lots of coastal walk near by.
We will be back again in the future .

  • On the A4118 Killay-Port Eynon, just before Port Eynon, turn left towards Horton. Then follow the signs for the campsite. This is recommended over your navigation system. The roads it selects are too narrow.
