Lovely site, nicely kept and maintained. It\'s main income, I imagine is the statics and glamping pods. There are 2 fields for tourers the one with the largest pitches only has one toilet and you have quite a walk to the showers. We were given a pitch right next to the toilets - showers - shop, plenty big enough and we were given ACSI rate so didn\'t qualify for a \'premium\' pitch. We were happy where we were. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers were clean, the hot water ran out once when it was busy. When in the toilets I often had to turn showers off that were left running, maybe that\'s why. There\'s a lovely kids play park and a small indoor swimming pool. A dog walking field is behind the bottom touring field. The site is close to Tavistock which has several good pubs, restaurants and takeaways - some will deliver to the site.

Totally amazing site, situated well on the Devon Cornwall border. Staff really friendly, facilities second to non and the on site shop was well stocked even at the end of the season. Fresh baked breads each day. I actually have done a full review of the site on my YouTube channel which shows every. Look at Waggies Travels and find the site review there. Returning next year.

We stayed for two nights en route to Wales. The facilities here are absolutely outstanding. There\'s even a bathroom, which we\'ve never encountered on a campsite before. There are toiletries provided in the showers and everywhere is well kept and maintained. The staff were very helpful and well-informed about the local area. We spent time using the swimming pool, the hot tub/jacuzzi and played boules underneath the rink shelter in a thunderstorm-our stay was very enjoyable. The management and staff are to be congratulated on keeping a fabulous site.

used the site for a stopover before the boat to Spain. The standard was 1st class what we expect in Europe but seldom get in the UK. We will return again for a longer stay

We discovered this beautiful site through the ACSI App, never having visited previously.
The approach was easy in our 7m motorhome, arriving at the site along a tree lined driveway. Our welcome was warm and friendly, not just with information about the site and pitch but also a special printed sheet with information useful to motorhomers.
We were allocated a pitch on the Tamar View field, which is light and open, with trees around the boundary. There was easy access off this field, to a small woodland walk for the dog and then a field where she could run off the lead. (An area of this field has been recently sown with wild flower seeds).
There are little information boards dotted about with notes on local wildlife, trees and plants.
There is a modern cabin toilet just off the Tamar Field, then 100m further the main toilet facilities, which were good and clean, with spacious showers, plenty of hot water and even soap provided.
There is a covered swimming pool, and also a sauna, these facilities were clean and comfortable.
This is the first campsite I have visited which has a covered petanque area, and close by was a field for ball games and table tennis.
There are lanes close by for walking and cycling (though no bus service). About 15 minutes walk away was a local pub with home made food.
This is a peaceful, friendly campsite in a beautiful location, suited to couples or families.

"Camping was formerly a grape vineyard. Very rural and quiet area. Friendly owners and very helpful. Large pitches, very shady."
