Moved to here from site next door. This site has a much nicer \'feel\' - nice big level pitches, no hedges between which is a shame. Lots of trees for shade if needed. Many people were parked on the dunes with campers & caravans. Toilets & showers plentiful. Clean and loads of hot water. Well stocked shop, daily bread & much more. Stayed an extra night for the Wednesday Paella night in the restaurant, nice 3 course meal with a drink for €10 each. The bar is popular during the day, right by the dunes. As well as rental bungalows there are about 90 seasonal / annual pitches, mostly Spanish owned so it becomes a boisterous place at weekends. Not a lot of \'social distancing\' going on. Maybe Spanish COVID precautions are different. Some respect the \'quiet after midnight\', a lot don\'t. They are the lifeblood for these sites so the owners turn a blind eye/ear. Monday to Thursday is very quiet. We walked into Oliva one day, for fishing tackle - google took us via the roads but it looks possible along the beach (shorter distance). The beach is fantastic. People walk, sunbathe, fish and kite surf but it was never crowded (October). We would liked to have stayed longer but are travelling south.

It is full of Germans but so what, all very friendly as were the Dutch, Spanish and Swiss. Restaurant is really good value, service with a smile until she got the order wrong then a bit sulky but I assume that was embarrassment. Sanitaires in good clean condition, nice hot showers. Dog and beach walks 50 m, golf 2km.
That’s the good things, however there was a bang bang festival, only way I can describe it is 10 days of hell with firecrackers, bangers and mortar bombs going off all day and night throughout the region. Not fireworks just bangs and not just kids but adults too standing in groups throwing firecrackers and manically laughing. Beats me why this is entertainment for them, hence would never return to this area.

Great site if you're a German, no really. We stayed here in September 2016, great place to be. We stayed here in March 2017, not so good, surrounded by the entire German population most of which appeared to be unhappy, the beach bar was closed, nothing much to do if the suns not shining. The guy that owns the shop is very happy to serve you and so was the girl who worked in there, you can get most things here inc bread. Would we revisit, yes, but only when the sun is shining.

We came across this site more by accident, but will definitely return, people where friendly, we found a great pitch, no issues.

We came to this site by default and stayed twice for a week whilst travelling along the coast, first mid January and again third week of February. Very enjoyable site with good pitches directly leading to a fabulous long, clean, sandy beach, 40 mins walk on hard sand to Oliva Plage. Facilities were good for us, some heating in one of the shower blocks. Small shop with fresh on site baked bread, and roasted chicken on Sundays. However, you need a car to really appreciate the hinterland and to get to Oliva town. Supermarket in Oliva Nova Golf Resort at about 20 mins walk is very poor and very expensive. Car hire available on site or seek via DoYouSpain.Com. We will come again!
