Strange location for a campsite - it’s quite close to busy roads, the football stadium and an industrial estate. The swimming pool very nice (33m by 17m) but when we went to use it on a calm, cloudy 28deg day it was closed due to ‘weather conditions’. Bar and restaurant had been closed since March (Covid). Staff spoke English but could not give any advice on things to do due to Covid. Quite an unattractive site and I found it at times noisy due to road noise and TV/radio etc from a rather ugly fenced off permanent pitch. Onsuite toilet/shower is a nice to have.

Definitely one to return to, super level pitches with own shower/toilet cabin on your pitch. We walked into Caceres using the path alongside the campsite, it\'s a good long walk and a little rocky in places but easy enough if you like walking and the old walled town is not to be missed, when we were there, there had been a 3 day carnival (3rd week Feb each year) with lots of food/dancing bands etc in the town which was a bonus.
We ate in the restaurant one night and food was excellent and good value. Didn\'t use pool or sports facilities but looked lovely, staff on reception very helpful too, will definitely return.

An exceptional campsite. Toilet and Shower facilities as clean as you\'d like and non-shared. 2pin 6 amp hookup.
Reception staff friendly and helpful. Small shop for essentials. Bus service into Cáceres from outside site after short walk. Trail walk available from site Paseo Alto La Sierrilla into Cáceres. 3miles; within compass of basic fitness, map available on line https://sig.caceres.es/rutas_verdes/WEB/6_PASEO_ALTO/6_paseo_alto_aguas_vivas.jpg
certainly a place to stay. Cáceres is a World Heritage Site

The campsite was easy to find using coordinates. The pitches had their own private shower/toilet facility with water hook up and waste water drain and even a little sink, which we had never seen before. Staff very friendly and helpful. There was a small shop and restaurant but we did not have the opportunity to use either. Good stopping point when heading south as there did not seem to be any sites for 200miles. Area was bit industrial, although there was a lovely walk or dog walk behind the site up through the olive groves. Good view of the surrounding countryside from the top.

Stayed for three nights on the way South allowing one day to visit Caceres and the old medieval town. Site pitches are quite large at the top end of the site with our own shower and toilet facilities.
Bar is open most days and restaurant food is good. The number of local people using the restaurant is a good sign. A trail at the side of the campsite leads all the way into Caceres across a ridge of hills.
Enjoyable stay.

I found this site very good, own toilet block etc, staff very friendly. for those who like walking there is a great walk to the old town approximately 3 miles. go out of the site turn left and follow the walk, do not stray from the walk way. over a bridge a little walk from there.
I would definitely recommend this site

Fabulous campsite. Own wet room with toilet, washbasin & mirror. Combi boiler with outside sink, 15amp electrics & water supply, all on the pitch. We were able to get our twin axle motorhome, trailer, car & canopy on our pitch. Planned to stay a couple of days but stayed for 8. Would definitely go again. Staff very friendly, spoke English & food was good in the restaurant, ate there 3 times.

More glamping than camping. Own compact and bijou washroom and loo. Café standard bar meals; pork or chicken. Bread or rice. Amstel bier much regretted, we\'re in Spain. Sports/swim closed.

Fab site convenient for travel to south Spain and Portugal. 2 and a quarter mile walk to Lidl Mercadona and other shops/ restaurants etc. Great swimming pool and your own toilet washroom on your pitch. Planned to stop one night but stayed for two. If we had more time would have been happy to stay longer. Will visit again

Used site travelling south in August and found excellent facilities: WC and shower on pitch for individual use. Swimming pool was large and very good, did not make use of bar or restaurant although looked good and reasonable prices. Pitches were good and chose own pit even in August. Would definitely stay again if passing.
