General information

At Camping l'Albera in Capmany (Girona) camping costs as little as €18,- per night during low season with CampingCard ACSI. At one of the 150 touring pitches you will get a discounted rate during the period 27-08-2020 - 31-12-2020. At this campsite you can not only use your CampingCard ACSI for inexpensive camping, you can also use your ACSI Club ID (as an alternative ID).

The views are a 'delight' to the eye. Highly recommended for a 'relaxing' holiday. Dutch-Spanish management. A combination of 'modern' and the peace and quiet of an old-fashioned campsite.

Our second visit here. Friendly owners. I shower/toilet area had radiator ( block with solar panels on) It would have been warmer if people could manage to shut the door! Bar and village store open on a Monday. Very near border so convenient stop if a little pricey for facilities on offer.

Great location with numerous walks for the dog directly from the site. Small supermarket and restaurants in village. Restaurant and pool closed in January, shower and toilets old but clean and plenty of hot water. Will return as perfect location for dog walking holiday.

Friendly owners, good sized pitches ours had water and electricity. Showers etc very clean but old fashioned. Plenty of hot water to shower, wash up and do washing. Bar open when we stayed but not restaurant. Village nearby, old historic centre, small village store with bread and coffee bar, 3 restaurants, I bar/ restaurant and 1 coffee shop. Certainly worth the short walk.

On arrival receptionist spoke good English, was very helpful and gave clear information about the campsite. Electricity and water seems to be available on most of the pitches. It is a lovely area for walking, lots of lovely cork oaks. The shower, toilet and washing facilities were lovely and clean, had to wait for the hot water to run in the shower, but that was not a problem. Your shower isn't timed and you can select the temperature you are comfortable with. The site, at this time of the year, seems nice and peaceful, note there are few facilities - but it is very picturesque. Shopping can be done in the nearby village of Capmany. Dog was welcome. Note: do not use the GPS, follow the camping signs on road to Capmany.

A rural site very quiet. Good as a stop over. Within a reasonable distance of the motorway but not so close so you can hear it.
