Travelling party: Couple

This is our second visit this year and we will return next year, the facilities are very clean, staff friendly and helpful.Local beach, big sandy and good for surf,is only 10 mins walk.Easy to visit the nearby town of Comillas by bike, foot or bus and it is very picturesque with a Gaudi house to visit.

What a find! It’s less than an hour from Santander, so we and several other Brits arrived here hot from the ferry. Plenty of local stuff to do, including an early Gaudi house. But the star, the real star, was the restaurant on site. We rarely eat out but we ate there 2 nights out of our 3 night stay. Fantastic.

Most things have been said about this site, it is excellent. Stayed 4 nights, would have stayed longer if the weather had been better.

Travelling party: Couple

We visited this campsite two years ago and returned on this holiday as we had been so impressed previously. We stayed two nights. We were not disappointed.. it’s proximity to the Santander ferry makes it a great first stop off. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We unfortunately had a wet day and the campervan got stuck in the mud. But it was no trouble for the staff to help pull us out. (The site would benefit from some hard standing.) The restaurant superb. Prices are excellent. The development of a well stocked shop is a great advance on the previous small shop beside the bar. The campsite is very well placed to visit San Vincent de Barquera and Comillas, a town worthy of a day’s visit, I would highly recommend this site.

We would highly recommend this site for short or long stays. Great facilities on site and lots to see and do. Great beach short walk away.

On site restaurant good value and quality. Heated toilet block - useful for April. Close to Comillas which is well worth a visit.

Travelling party: Couple

I would recommend this site to everybody but hope you don’t all come at once as I want to come again. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. Indoor heated pool, outdoor and paddling pools. Small shop that is quite well stocked. We ate in the restaurant last night and the set menu meal was excellent. Some pitch require blocks to level. All the staff I’ve spoken to have been very friendly. 15 minute walk down the back lane to the beach. Bar on the beach was open even this time of year.

Fantastic site, staff go the extra mile every day. WiFi brilliant, and the site is in a great location for visiting the local area. We would revisit in the future

Travelling party: Couple

From previous reviews I was surprised to find the pitches were small, very soft ground, and the access roads were very tight (I had to take my caravan around on the mover) . The restaurant was closed for the 3 days we are here. I do not understand where the luxurious is since the campsite is not interested in campers but statics.
