Camping & Bungalows Zumaia Cat.1

Staff great, toilets and showers very clean, plenty of hot water and heated. Places are level part gravel part grass. Didn\\\'t try the restaurant but looked fine. WiFi is not free just 15 minutes plus 1 hour at the restaurant, if you want more you pay! I\\\'m a light sleeper and the barking dogs and regular trains kept me awake.

Steep, narrow road to site entrance, but warm welcome on arrival. Good views across the countryside.
Shower block good, but no separate cubicles with washbasins, should you wish for more privacy. However, toilet paper & soap provided.
Restaurant very good value for money for 3 course lunch including bottle of wine, and waitress spoke some English and was very friendly.

Entrance through an industrial estate then up a steep hill to site, but no problem. Well run site with modern toilets and showers that are kept very clean. Pitches have electric and water and good views of mountains.
Nice walk into town along the riverbank to the harbour where there are shops and restaurants.There is a swimming pool on site which was closed and we did not use the restaurant either as it closed at 4.30pm. Shop on site had the essentials. Staff on site very pleasant and spoke English, would stay there again.

As stated before try to put the industrial bit out of mind before arrival. The coastline is spectacular and the little town very quaint. Staff very friendly and helpful stayed 2 nights .. thoroughly enjoyed stay.

Spent three very enjoyable nights at this friendly site in late September amidst glorious weather. The approach isn’t too bad at all just past some factory units. The site at the top of the hill is open and sunny. Pitches are well kept with ehu and water but are slightly narrow and access looked a bit tight for larger Motorhome units. No problem with a 6m panel van. The pool area looked very nice but it was a shame it was closed as temperatures were high 20s. The barbecue area by the pool was popular at the weekend. Didn’t try the bar but it was busy. Bread and croissants could be ordered and staff spoke good English. Entrance controlled by a security barrier.
Zumaia looked a nice town and harbour and we did a beautiful coastal drive towards Bilbao. Plenty to keep you occupied in good weather in this pretty area. The inland mountains are worth exploring as well whilst access to San Sebastian is easy

Don’t be put off by the drive through the industrial area, this is a very good site above the town with great views from the pitches. It’s a new site. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the site is well kept. Zumaia is a good base for exploring the Basque coast with good train and bus services not far from the site.

Brilliant newish site that we used to try this area of Spain. All facilities are good, if not superb. We echo the steep approach, and mention some turns into pitches are difficult. A full site would give issues with pitch parking. Town walkable and lovely. We shortened our stay purely because of weather. We would be very happy to return.

What a great camp site, all very new and all very clean, the toilet block is spotless. Ten min walk into town along the river which is beautiful, ten min walk to the train station where you can catch the train to San Sebastián, this is a fantastic site for cycling and walking lovers.
Only one bad point, the toilet emptying point and Motorhome service point are side by side, people being people will use the water fill up point for flushing their toilet wast tanks . Other than that, great site, we will return, thank you Camping Zumia.

To reach this site you have thave dive through an industrial estate which is a little offputing however, it is a Beautiful site, well maintained with individual marked out pitches, all with EHU and water. Staff are friendly and always happy to help or give advise.
There is a dog exercise area just outside the site.

Easy walk along the estuary into Zumaiai

Very nice new site, very friendly staff. Easy walk into town along the river. Sanitary blocks excellent. Some pitches small and access for larger vans tight, fortunately it was quiet when we were there so we could choose our pitch. Stayed longer than we intended as lots to see & do, we will visit again.
