We arrived just outside the ACSI season and found this site expensive considering what is on offer. The pitches were the smallest we saw during our trip. The view from the cliff top is what makes this site so popular and if you are lucky enough to get a pitch with a view it would be great.
The walk into Zarautz and back up the 440 steps wasn’t as bad as we thought and we thought the town itself was lovely.

View spectacular, pitches size very generous, shower and toilet facilities not good very dirty, after checking previous reviews checked out the newer blocks which is quite a walk but worth it, still not very clean but an improvement on the old ones.

Fantastic location for visiting San Sebastian, Geteria and Zumaia. Hill top site with plenty of shaded pitches. Some have views of the Zarautz beach. Great fish dishes served in the restaurant. Excellent toilet and shower facilities.

Not a bad site, but a couple of issues were annoying, limited amperage meant we couldn\'t have the heating on and boil a kettle at the same time, and I felt that at the price it is this was poor. Also my wife is slightly disabled and when we used the facilities found the disabled shower room, well marked! but locked. Otherwise a good site.

locality across the bay is stunning, bit of a hike mind you, but would return for this reason above others.

Visited this site when in Spain. There are plus and minus points for this site.
Plus points: beautiful views if lucky enough to get one of the outer pitches - we were not, seems you have to have one of th smaller camper vans for this.
Very child friendly, too much so for us, there was a large party of teenage school children on site and it was very noisy.
Small shop but not mine h stock
Nice bar, didn\'t try the food.
Minus points: Staff are a little reserved, polite but not over keen to be helpful.
Site is a little jaded with lots of permanent caravans and chalets which don\'t look to have been touched or visited for a long time, giving the Impression of a tatty traveler camp.
Price is expensive even with ACSI when compared to a site 30 minutes away in Zumaia which is the same price and totally different.
I wouldn\'t class it as category ry 1 at all.

We got here on a very busy day to be greeted by very friendly staff. Our pitch couldn\'t of been better as we had a fantastic bay view with sunsets to die for. Toilets and shower block we\'re nice and clean. The bar was great to watch the World Cup in seeing England score 6 made it that much better. We would definitely come back again.

Good site, easy access. Helpful friendly staff who speak good English. Wifi, shop, restaurant and bar all good. Stunning views if you have a perimeter pitch though not necessarily level. Steep walk down into Zarautz but well worth it, or take minibus from site. Recommend.

Were lucky enough to get a pitch near the perimeter overlooking the bay. Very large open pitch which could accommodate 3 motorhomes but only us for 1 of the two nights we stayed..we parked so had best view of the bay. Very clean shower block..if a little basic. Washers & dryers good value. Small shop even has it's own bread oven for making baguettes..delicious. The bar and restaurant served lovely food. I had calamari as a starter portion and couldn't finish it...very tender and tasty. Good access roads around the site especially to the motorhome service area. Would happily recommend this site. Friendly staff with excellent English.

Absolutely amazing views from the hillside pitches, one of which we were lucky enough to get. Sanitary amenities are extensive but were quite a walk from many of the pitches including ours (the nearest one closed). Nice access (if a little sleep to climb back) to the local beach via a paved walk way. Staff very helpful, most touring pitches with sea views small and cramped. I would expect the site to get quite busy and possibly a little rowdy in high season. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay.
