Lovely campsite in beautiful location surrounded by mountains but not difficult to access. Shower and toilet facilities are the best we have experienced in Spain. Great bar serving basic but good value food. Restaurant closed when we were there. Pitches on terraces of average size with little privacy but this is compensated by the other qualities of the site. Footpath down to Biescas, an attractive small town with a number of bars and restaurants . Lots of walking opportunities in the Tena valley and not far from Ordesa National Park. Would highly recommend this site.

Lovely site, friendly helpful staff, mostly used by Spanish. Great showers.
Good location, 20 minute walk into nearest town with lovely market and a very helpful Ironmonger ( needed a bolt to repair a chair!). Easy drive to access National Park where dogs allowed on leads. Great walks and wildlife, watched a pair of golden eagles at quite close range, fabulous sight!

A wonderful site which is badly let down by
unfriendly office staff and a disappointing and badly run restaurant and bar. We have visited this site
for almost 20 years and it is sad to see the good
quality being let down by unsuitable office and
restaurant staff.

This is a beautiful site set in the Pyrenees. Everything is faultless, if only all campsites were like this in Spain.. ☺️

We used this site on our way out and back as it\'s just 28km from El Portalet on the border. The terraced pitches could bq larger but there is adequate swinging in room from the tarmac roadways, although some trees have low branches. Toilet facilities are spotless and shower cubicles generous, unfortunately the water wasn\'t very warm on our return journey in the lower block. We walked into Biescas which was very pleasant, unfortunately a new development of apartments has crossed the marked path to Gavin faultso we had to squeeze through and then found another path back, not much in Gavin but good views. The people that run the restaurant served their meals in the bar but the set menu was brilliant and superb value for the quality and service. They were so friendly, I wish we could converse in Spanish- our fault!

Situated in a beautiful region, Camping Gavin ticks most of the boxes. The campsite makes one feel like being in a well manicured park, with lawns, flower beds and leafy trees. It is set on a terraced hillside with fairly flat, if not a bit small, grass pitches. Most have great view over the valley and the mountains in the background. We were set up on the lower terrace and shared the services with those pitches in the field below. Although the loos and showers were of a very good standard, there were times when you found yourself in a queue, particularly in the ladies section. Same situation in the washing up room. Reception is good, friendly staff. Wifi only available near the bar and restaurant. We found it painfully slow. Set dinner in the restaurant inluding wine was good value. The village of Gavin is a short but steep walk away. It is a very small place, all the houses have geraniums in window boxes and look pretty. There are two restaurants. 3 kms away there is a lovely little town called Biescas, several shops, bars and restaurants.
Lots to do and places to visit around camping Gavin, definitely worth a visit.

We stayed here three nights in the Campervan. Free wifi was available at the spacious bar/ restaurant. Facilities were very good. The campsite is tiered and pitches are adequate but with limited privacy. Over the weekend it became very busy with Spanish families staying in parked caravans etc. We enjoyed at trip up to Biescas and on into France and back again!

Charming site. Every pitch is south facing with a view. Immaculately kept grounds with mature deciduous trees allowing shade in summer and light in winter. Showers and toilets were warm and spotless. The bar was warm and friendly with an open fire. Although little English was spoken, we got on fine with \"Google Translate\" app. The husband and wife team who run the bar were extremely generous and kind to us.
