Travelling party: Couple

Rustic campsite with open pitches and amazing views over the mountains, great for watching the sun go down of an evening, facalaties all good with plenty of hot water, bar very nice with good food all at very reasonable prices. The cycle track outside the site goes into town which is well worth a visit, there you will pick up the Via Verde, 50 miles of stunning countryside whare you can marvel at the hundreds of Griffon Vultures in the sky. would return.

Great site overlooking Olvera. good location for visiting the other white towns and also for the via verde. In January the top shower block did not have hot water and also strangely there are no outside doors on the ladies toilets which is a bit chilly!

This site and whole area has lots of potential but is suffering from general lack of tourists to the area to make it work. Great location with amazing views and lots to do in the area, walking , cycling, riding, eating. Site seeing villages and ancient monuments. Ditch the crammed in beach resorts with no room or character. Travel inland for something different.
WC blocks excellent with continuous hot water. Laundry has variable price list and you can get a good 1 hr wash for a few euro.Resturant and menu look good value although we didn\'t try but was only open 3 days in the week. Probably due to the lack of visitors. You can find some pitches with water, drainage and electric. Only one female speaks English who appeared disinterested in her job. The site still hasn\'t been cleared of weeds and doesn\'t look like it will be. The pool was supposed to be open when we stayed but we were told that it\'s sanitation certificate wouldn\'t be issued until two days after we were leaving. We would definitely return again. Stayed for 4 nights and got the camping red stamp to get 5 nights free when you have 4 stamps. Good deal.

Expensive laundry, Great views. Olvera is the start of a brilliant cycle ride along a disused railway track to Puerto Serrano. This trip can be done on a road bike as the track is quite smooth. We saw many caged birds and a Goldfinch on a very fine tether.

This site is a little piece of heaven. It’s quite rustic which is what we like. Our pitch was at the top of the site on a plateau with 360 degree spectacularly breathtaking views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada. We just couldn’t get enough of it. There were amazing sunsets. Olvera is a beautiful village with lots of history and the Via Verde is a fabulous cycle/walking path on a disused railway track which runs for 36km. You can see lots of Griffin vultures which are pretty amazing, we had our own air show. There are some steep hills, especially the road to and from the Via Verde. Even our electric bikes couldn’t make it and we had to push them but it was worth it. The only criticism is the showers in the top shower block have no division to put your towel/clothes and you have to get dried and dressed in the wet. But the positives certainly outweigh this small negative. We loved this site and really didn’t want to leave and will definitely come again.

Stunning! The views were amazing and sunsets breathtaking with the 360 degree views. Very quiet in April, only ever about 12 units there but we stayed a week and loved it, using it to make a trip to Seville and to Ronda as well as long cycle rides on the via Verde from Olvera. And enjoying Olvera itself. Would love to go again.

Good location for visiting Ronda, Setenil, Zahara, Olvera etc. The site has lmpressive views, but is rather like a large car park. Water pressure and temperature an issue in toilet/ shower block.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, a clean well laid out campsite .The 360° views from this site are some of the best you can get on any site in Europe with amazing sunsets over the mountains. We would definitely recommend.

First stayed here not long after the site opened and we were pleased with the standards, i.e. large level pitches, great views, good facilities. This time however, although the above is still the same, the ground is covered with weeds which gives the campsite an uncared for feel. Some pitches are like scrubland and virtually unusable, it's such a shame.

This is a lovely site with friendly staff and good sized pitches. Very quiet. Worth a visit just for the views which are stunning.
