Travelling party: Couple

Lovely campsite. Quiet in September. Unmarked pitches amongst Pine and Eucalyptus trees with plenty of space. Toilets and showers clean and tidy. Toilet paper, but no soap. Plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. WiFi on the pitch. 10amp electricity. All this for the ACSI rate per night. Nice bar/restaurant. Limited menu, but very nicely presented and good size portions. Fabulous value - we had 2 starters, 2 mains, a beer, a very nice bottle of Douro red and 2 coffees and just 3 minutes walk from our pitch! Will definitely return.

Good campsite, a bit dusty, sheltered by huge eucalyptus trees. Good location, friendly staff, well worth a visit. Above all, at a great price, even into July.

Travelling party: Couple

As others have already said its a real gem, came here for a couple of nights but stayed a week. Met some lovely people and all did the same, stayed more than they had planned for. Thank you Phillip, Roy and Olinda all lovely people with good language skills. The site has a very handy local Intermache with a café where you can get a good coffee and a pastel de nata. I swam in the river that runs alongside the campsite beautifully clear water but quite cold and the long sandy beaches near by are totally unpopulated and well maintained.

Travelling party: Couple

Great campsite. We arrived in their last week of opening so had great choice of where to pitch. Still quite a lot of campers passing through.easy cycling into town but some on the road. Beautiful beaches and a fairly busy town for the end of season. Intermarche supermarket close by .
Very clean toilets and great shower with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately the bar closed on Sunday and the small shop was closed. What value though with electric and great wifi.

Worth visiting just for the showers. Best showers this side of the Atlantic! Great to wake up with the smell of pine trees.

Travelling party: Couple

A quiet peaceful site, with good clean toilet facilities. River is pretty but there is no room to walk alongside. An easy walk to a large supermarket.

Travelling party: Seniors

It\'s all been said. Nice site, surroundings and staff. fairly casual camping in woods. 15/20 slow walk on flat to supermarket. Another 20 mins to town. Taxi\'s available. Train last town audible at times but not intrusive. A few Portuguese families at weekend,- well it is Portugal. less noise than in Spain. Return visit when in area. Replay nice and a well done to warden Rui.
Big note: Do not let sat have take you off the main road before reaching the traffic lights or you\'ll be in nightmare alley. From lights is cobbled for a bit but plenty wide. just follow the signs and enjoy it.

Travelling party: Seniors

A lovely campsite with a river alongside. When the gate is open there is access to the river but the approach is steep and dangerous. A short walk gives a much better approach and the river is good for swimming or paddling.
Toilet block very clean at all times.
Only caravans were allowed to park near the river (why?), other than that we could pitch where we wanted. A very peaceful site with friendly and efficient staff and at a great price. Wifi free but you have to search for a good connection..

Travelling party: Couple

A super little site, very quiet in nice surroundings. Perfect for visiting Viana de Castello & surrounding area.
Nice staff. Free wifi all over site. Nice bar for coffee & drinks at very reasonable prices.
Good clean toilet block & all day long free hot showers. Loos have seats & there\'s soap to wash hands with.
Extremely good value with ACSI card & during the relevant dates. Large supermarket close by ....just past traffic lights & open on Sundays.

Fabulous campsite, quiet, good facilities and wonderful setting, the staff are helpful, the cafe offers good refreshments and the value for money is exceptional.
