Travelling party: Seniors

Small family run campsite. The owner was extremely helpful and made our stay perfect.
It was very hot during our stay, so the shade from the trees was very welcome.
There is a shop stocking the fruit and vegetables of the farm, they are delicious. Bread is available to order the night before.
Not many Men’s showers and toilet, but all facilities very clean and modern.
The ferry to Venice is a 2 min walk away. The ferries run ever 30 mins through most of the day and go to San Marco.
There is a beach at the end of the street, it looks very nice, but no dogs.

We have just stayed 3 nights at this little gem of a camp site, while visiting Venice. The owner could not be more helpful and even gave us a lift to the vaporetto jetty one day. There is free Wi-fi by the shop / reception. This is a farm as well, so lots of fresh produce, eggs, asparagus, strawberries to name a few. It is a 15min walk to the vaporetto and easy to get a 2 day pass from the machine there, so don’t pay any touts. There is a beach, supermarket and restaurant all within easy walk. If you have bikes, there are good cycle lanes or quiet roads. Showers are hot and not on timers. Electric hook up was good, we did not trip the fuse this time...
So I would highly recommend this site as a pleasant place to stay and a base for visiting Venice.

A small quiet campsite on the owners farmland. Fresh seasonal vegetables are in the shop. Shower/toilet block looks very new. Very helpful owners.
