Travelling party: Couple

Smashing quiet, relaxed little campsite; friendly and helpful reception staff, nice swimming pool, good restaurant/ cafe.
Pitches were a good size and level.
No nearby shops etc but that’s part of it’s attraction.
Would recommend it and would stay here again.

I think the toilet/shower facilities were showing signs of too many people and not enough facilities (eg. Gents 3 showers and 3 toilets for the whole site) - although cleaned well they quickly became dirty and some people don\'t leave things in a state that they like to find them in!
The toilets had no seats and the space in the cubicles didn\'t provide enough room for tall people to squat.
In general the site could be quite noisy during the day.
Other than that, the staff were very nice, there is a cafe/\"restaurant\" eat in or take away worth a try. Access to Pisa from bus stop at end of access track is easy to use but be sure to note the name of your stop for the return (Sofina 1). Tickets on board are more expensive so buy your return bus ticket at the station newsagents.

Great site - next to a lake. We stayed 3 nights Local restaurant is good locals visit. We cycled into Pisa approx 14km - train to Lucca easy and inexpensive

Showroom clean and good hot water

Would visit again

Stayed 3 nights - idilyc lake and location with the odd plane. Restaurant is excellent but not for vegetarians. Beef menu looked great but far too large - smallest steak is 500g minimum and a sharing steak is 1kg minimum! Pizzas were excellent. Lots of locals dine here so make sure you reserve a table! They will write your name on the paper tablecloth! Lots of hot water and showers, toilet block and washing up excellent. Have a fridge freezer where you can leave stuff for free! Easy to get to pisa by bus or cycle as we did. We would return without a doubt!

We loved this site and stayed for 5 nights rather than the 3 we had planned. Despite being close to the airport, motorway and train line the site was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and you can buy locally produced meats and cheeses and several other products. We particularly enjoyed watching the bird life and listening to the nightingales singing. All in all we couldn\'t fault the site.

Yes the road leading to the site is very bumpy but is well worth it when you arrive. This is a quiet family run site, pitches are large and showers are excellent.

What a lovely place very peaceful even though it's near Pisa airport, big pitches, enchanting staff and not far from Pisa, nice lake to kayak on supplied. Will go again.

Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed on the site for just over 4 weeks and we spent more days relaxing by the lake than any other site we have stayed at. The campsite made a good base for us to visit and explore Tuscany. The campsite is basic compered to more commercial sites we have stayed on, however they have all the important amenities, water, electricity showers, toilets and the restaurant, which is extremely good value. The pitches are well set out and marked.
For those who wanted to go to the local beach this was only a short journey by car 15/20 mins. Pisa is only 20 mins away by car. The campsite is a little out of the way along not the best roads we have used, but if you go carefully and not speed there should be no problems. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Although the campsite is just off the flight path for Pisa airport this did not interfere with our enjoyment as they were far enough away.

lovely helpful staff with good English.
campsite is down some quite rough roads right by a lake.
nice but small pool.
whole campsite looks like it needs some maintenance and care.
no hot water in showers during our whole stay.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site, nice and quiet but only 30mins from Pisa. Very spacious pitches with room for van and a little garden for table and chairs etc.
Our dog loved the walk around the lake. Pool not open when we visited (May 2016) but should have been as it was red hot. Got very busy at the weekend.
