Came to this campsite unexpectedly due to an electrical problem with the Camper. Ended up staying 3 nights, lovely large pool overlooking a rocky beach. Large hard standing pitches with EHU & a sink with drinking water. Mini market, bar & restaurant, family run business and very helpful. New improvements planned for winter 2018, open all year and in winter months. There is a railway track runs through and below the site but not too noisy and only frequently, the village of Finale is only a 10mins walk for all your food & drink etc, Cefalu is 13km away a nice little busy town ...
We had a fantastic large pitch overlooking the sea. Excellent welcome, good facilities, well kept pool, good shop, excellent restaurant. Local town 10 minutes walk away, with a small supermarket, butchers, bars and trattorias, and other shops. So nice we stayed longer than planned.
A wonderful campsite overlooking the Med and Stromboli. Local town close to the campsite. Wifi is free but slow. Cats are a pain but nearly under control! Would come here again.
Great for train spotters as the coastal railway goes straight thru the middle of it. First hoot at 06.30 last about 10pm. The pitches are mainly hard standing so bring a hammer for the tent pegs. Front pitches are by the noisy road ss113. Pool closed day after I arrived as did bar and restaurant. The large groups mentioned by Acsi must all leave with the toilet seats. No paper provided and no hand wash. I was in a camper van and owner insisted on a sea view. Very nice but a long walk to the showers and toilets. Reductions for long stay for the train spotters. Over priced for Acsi
This was our last site visited on Sicily before getting the ferry from Palermo to Genoa. Excellent, large pitches with terrific views out to sea. No beach, only rocks. But the wonderful sea-water pool makes up for this. We were even entertained by local children having swimming lessons.
A good bar and restaurant make is site a good choice.
We enjoyed a lot this camping place. We arrived super late and they were very nice and welcoming despite the late hour.
With a tend, they recommended us to stay near the beach. We stayed in a beautiful platform by the sea and enjoyed a peaceful night there.
Cleaned toilets and nice environment. Totally recommend.
One of the best we stayed at. Friendly staff, good facilities, great views.
A great place to relax. Fresh bread in the morning or a short walk to town.
One of the best Pizza in Italy can be bought at the restaurant on site..
We stayed for 1 night during a road trip mi-sept. We had a spot with a tent on the terrasses in front of the sea, absolutely beautiful. A beach is just down the terrasses so you can have a swim very easily, there are trees, an amazing swimming pool, and the coffee is good at the bar-restaurant.
The site is dissected by a railway line and the access to the small stony beach is down long flights of steps. Pitches on concrete, with no privacy. WiFi free for one hour on arrival, after which the tickets are expensive. Village of Finale only 500 m away, but along a busy road - not accessible along sea shore. Very basic shops. Camp facilities old but functional. Restaurant closed. Washing machine OK, but no drier. The owner was very aggressive when asked about the metered electricity, as we were paying the ACSI Card rate. He refused to explain what was included, or the price per kWh if we exceeded the limit, and asked if we were so poor that it mattered to us! Next day a friendlier Receptionist said 3 Euros' worth per day' was allowed but we must pay for any extra. When we left, however, no-one bothered to read the meter and we were not charged extra - so why the insults? We will certainly not return here.
The campsite has a lovely private beach and garden. They were all very friendly and my dogs welcomed and free to play around and swim. The viewing was stunning.
