General information

At Camping Drepanos in Igoumenitsa (Epirus) camping costs as little as €15,- per night during low season with CampingCard ACSI. At one of the 80 touring pitches you will get a discounted rate during the period 01-01-2018 - 30-06-2018 and 01-09-2018 - 30-12-2018. At this campsite you can not only use your CampingCard ACSI for inexpensive camping, you can also use your ACSI Club ID (as an alternative ID).

Campsite on a long, child-friendly sandy beach (free sun loungers) on a headland close to Igoumenitsa, next to an extensive nature reserve and bird sanctuary. The toilet facilities are a little outdated and quite simple. Great restaurant. Many of the pitches are shaded under the trees. An ideal spot to relax before or after taking the ferry.

What a find! Staff were excellent finding us a pitch even when we turned up at midnight from the ferry. We were only going to stay overnight but the facilities and the surrounding (and the weather) meant that we stayed 5 nights. Toilet facilities were very good in newly built blocks with a lady cleaning them at least 3 times a day. Hot and cold water for washing up and laundry. The restaurant was good and the staff made a fuss about us over the royal wedding by bringing the television outside onto the terrace and providing us with free food whilst we watched. Beautiful beach with clear waters convincing us to take a swim each morning before breakfast.

Ideal for before or after the ferry. Friendly staff who kept the door open for us on our very late arrival (0400 hrs). New toilet block is excellent. Staff were not aware that the ACSI rate had gone down

We only stayed one night on our way to the ferry. They were very flexible about what time we left, as it was a midnight crossing ,we did not leave until 8pm & were not charged extra. We were told to pitch wherever we wanted, the pitches were not marked out & all facing the sea were taken by static caravans. The toilet facilities were ok for an overnight stay. There was only cold water in the washing up/laundry area. no available fridge/freezer or washing machine.

Very disappointed with this 'recently refurbished' site (ACSI Camping Card book 2015). Refurbishing the toilet/shower blocks meant whitewashing the outside walls, and that is all. Inside the toilets were dirty, some Turkish-style, some without seats, no paper, wet floors strewn with leaves and debris. I wouldn't even think of using the showers. The outdoor laundry and wash-up sinks had only cold water and were half full of rubbish and grimy water.
Free WiFi and an electric hook-up were the only usable facilities. This site should not be open in winter if this is all it can offer. Shop and restaurant closed until 1 May.
The sea-front pitches were all taken up with tatty old permanent caravans covered in plastic sheeting that flapped in the wind. The rest of the site was soft grass, muddy after rain. We parked on the roadway for one night and won't be returning.

An outstanding site. A very friendly welcome in this very well set out park. The pitches are large, and depending upon the time of year, a large number face out to the sea with a fantastic view. The beach is exceptional..the best we have come across in Greece..fine white sand and beautiful crystal clear water.Children safe and deck. Chairs etc on the beach for hire. The restaurant is very busy, good food and drink and well priced.Plenty of shade on all pitches was a bonus.
