Nice location but a crowded site, with small pitches and large motorhomes. The booking website and electricity coin operation were annoying.

Stayed at this campsite for 3 nights. A very convenient campsite for visiting Saarburg. Great walking and cycling routes from the campsite. supermarket 5min walk, town 15min walk.
Definitely reccomend.

Very good location for visiting Saarburg and good supermarket in walking distance. You have to pay extra for electricity but we didn't know how much we needed so started by putting in 1euro and then we ran out. So put in 5 Euro but that was too much. It puts me off staying here again

Wir waren über Pfingsten auf dem Campingplatz Leukbachtal. Einfach, ohne Schnickschnack aber sauber. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5 Fußminuten zu erreichen. Das Centrum von Saarburg etwa 15-20 Fußminuten. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen mit dem Auto. Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

A pleasant campsite,though slightly scruffy, on the edge of Saarburg. An easy walk or cycle into town and along the Saar Riverside cycle path.
There are also lovely walks in the hills and forests. Tourist Info in Saarburg had plenty of walk leaflets.
Aldi & Rewe supermarkets very handy to the site. Toilets, showers, washing up areas etc were always clean and tidy and staff were pleasant and helpful.
I\'ve marked down on price because the electricity supply was on a coin meter and it was a very hungry coin meter! mostly running just the fridge. No heating or water heating.
Otherwise a really good stay in an interesting location.

Sehr schoen gelegener camping . Leider kein Restaurant vorhanden aber plus minus in einer entfernung von einem kilometer. Einkauf moeglichkeiten in einer entfernung von 300 meter

Friendly owner, speaks English. Showers hot for a couple minutes- says 5 mins but it wasn’t that long. Clean and nice toilets. Cycled into Saarburg, and along river. Nice 2 night stay. Restaurants taking name and number for Covid tracking. Most restaurants along by the canal, water fall. Busy early on the evening, quieter by 20:00hrs.
