This agreeable campsite is located by the river at Saarburg, within walking distance of the lively centre. The parklike grounds make a good starting point for walking and cycling trips. The toilet building was fully modernised in 2017.

    Travelling party: Couple

    Friendly owner, speaks English. Showers hot for a couple minutes- says 5 mins but it wasn’t that long. Clean and nice toilets. Cycled into Saarburg, and along river. Nice 2 night stay. Restaurants taking name and number for Covid tracking. Most restaurants along by the canal, water fall. Busy early on the evening, quieter by 20:00hrs.

    Travelling party: Seniors

    Helpful staff and most spoke English but google translate helps. Showers and toilets very clean. Level pitches. Short walk to new Aldi supermarket. Ten minute walk into Saarburg, a charming quaint town with lots of restaurants and cafes. Good traffic free cycle path near the campsite.
