Camp for €20,- a night at Camping Denntal in low season with CampingCard ACSI. A peaceful and well-equipped campsite located by the Dennbach, a stream in a beautiful valley. Good base for walking, cycling and trips out into the Ahr Valley and Eiffel (also by train). The site has excellent toilets, sauna and fitness.

Travelling party: Seniors

Beautiful situation surrounded by vineyards. Well laid out campsite with good toilet facilities and easy access to cycle tracks. Easy 10 minute walk into village which has a railway station.

Travelling party: Couple

Spent 3 nights here on way south. The situation is just perfect, up an off shoot of the Ahr valley. So peaceful and quiet, surrounded by forests. Heard an Owl, Cuckoos and Woodpeckers amongst others. Travelled in to Cologne on the train to see the Cathedral and were not disappointed. We bought a ticket from the machine at the station for up to 5 people. The journey involved a platform change in Bonn - very easy and in all took just under 2 hours. The trip was beautiful up the Rhine valley. We cycled up the valley and the scenery was fantastic. Staff and everything about the site was excellent. Supermarket in the town about a mile from the site. About 20 mins off the motorway.

  • A61 Meckenheimer Kreuz exit Altenahr. B257 direction Nürburgring/Adenau. Nearly through Ahrbrück. On Hauptstrasse turn left to Kesseling (L85). After about 800 metres turn right (Dentalstrasse) and follow camping signs.
