Stayed here for one night in late September in a motorhome. This was just a one night stop-over travelling back to Calais. A nice little campsite by the side of a small river. Found a pitch with hard standing and a grass area just by the shower block. the pitch was very good but the shower block left a lot to be desired with outdated showers and automatic lights which kept going off whilst you were in the windowless shower (there was a notice to this effect, but needs fixing). No option for bread etc in the morning. Short walk to a lovely town, Lyons-la-Fôret, which had a number of restaurants, but being a Monday most were closed! Had a very good pizza at Gabriele\'s pizzeria though.

Lovely setting close to a beautiful village. use the pool next door for free. Toilets very dated lots of hot water no toilet seats but paper supplied.Showers very dowdy and smell of damp mould. Wi fi free at the snack bar but I could not get connected.

site could do with being updating, 6 amp trip switches need replacing old and keep tripping out with less than 6 amps ,town within 15 minutes walk with half timber buildings, went to Paris from Gisors for 13-50€ return 90 minutes trip well worth it, all in all average site staff excellent .

It is a very quiet camping place with a little stream running past. Located only a 10 minutes walk from the picturesque village of Lyons-la-Foret. Helpful, friendly hosts.

We stopped 1 night on the way from Calais to the Loire. Very nice site within 10 minutes walk of the beautiful village of Lyon la Foret. Spent a pleasant hour in the square over a drink. Walked into the the village in the morning to pick up the best baguette and croissants we have had for a long time. Would definitely use again.

We were a bit disappointed by this site having read all the reviews.
Firstly the price was not as shown in the book and the site that frankly below average.
Secondly, when we visited the village we found that it was closed except for one bar and the chemist's. The centre was attractive either the timbered houses but there were only estate agents and restaurants. This, in my view does not make it one of the most attractive villages in France.

This is a beautiful site beside a brook. Although they have quite a few permanent caravans on site they have many touring pitches which are of a very good size and are well maintained - they also have hardstanding pitches for motorhomes. The site is well maintained with the grass cut and many flower borders etc. Good clean sanitary facilities with separate sections for toilets and showers as well as male and female. Plenty of activities for the young including, swimming, football, volleyball and small playgrounds with equipment. The swimming pool is adjacent on the municipal sports ground and is free to use by campers. The lovely village of Lyons le Foret is a short 10 minute walk away, with it's half timbered houses, covered market square, many historic buildings and quite a few restaurants etc.
