Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Very nice site with lovely pool. Nice pitches, shaded and good sized. Very peaceful. Very friendly staff. Highligh is access to the cycle rpute via dolce. Try the butcher too. Local chateau very pretty and close by. A great stop over.

Travelling party: Couple

Great site. really easy access, close to autoroute. Lovely sized pitches. Lots of pretty trees and shrubs. Pool lovely. Views quite gorgeous of surrounding hills. Local village mins away but very very tiny and all closed when we were there, So no bars, cafes etc. No cards here so make sure you take enough cash! Mostly Dutch and Dutch owned, very friendly. will return.

Travelling party: Couple

Arrived after a day of heavy rain but still got on to a reasonably solid pitch. Pitches quite small – couldn’t have got our camper, awning and car into the spot and surface just soil and gravel, not really any grass. Good shade on our pitch at top of site. Terraced site with pool and bar/restaurant at lower level. Pool not open – was just being filled when we were there. Bar and restaurant were. Good showers and other facilities and friendly staff. Good walks in the hills behind the campsite.

Travelling party: Seniors

Access to the site from the toll road could be easier and the village the site is in can be tricky if traffic is heavy. Friendly english speaking staff. Pitches are adequate but electric is only 5 amp. Some nice walks close to the camp and supermarket and fuel is only a short drive away. Pool, Bar and Restaurant weren't open when we visited. It is a good stop off site for people travelling North or South. We would use it again.

Good site in very pleasant area. Excellent swimming pool and restaurant. Friendly, English speaking wardens.

Travelling party: Couple

Well run site not far from Chateauneuf du Pape. Some sloping pitches and some with quite rough ground. Excellent swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. Good bar/restaurant with set menu.

Travelling party: Couple

A lovely site run by a Dutch Couple. Nice and quiet great stop over. Short walk into Village with good amenities.

David Bowman, on this campsite in October 2012

Travelling party: Seniors

Very pleasant campsite, with Dutch owners who make a lot of effort and are really friendly. Both speak exc English. Wi-fi is free and we found gd. Walks from the campsite and into St Laurent, and there is a non-asphalt cycle track the other side of the river. Nice villages in the area, esp Beauchastel. We liked this campsite. We called in on way down south and on way back.

Mark Edwards, on this campsite in March 2012

Travelling party: Single

Peaceful and quiet campsite, set in the rural location of a small village.
Dutch owners are very friendly and helpful and speak good English.
There are a few shops in the village for much what you need (walking distance), and some large supermarkets within 10 km.
Plenty of nice walks and cycles in the area, although a little hilly.
Sanitation facilities were first class, the showers were actually too hot !
Thoroughly recommended for either overnight, or a much longer stay.
