Fantastic site on the Ile de Re. A short walk in to Loix which is a small village nearby. Ideal for cycling and bikes can be hired on site. Helpful site staff who all spoke English. Order bread and croissants at the office (best pain au raisin I\'ve ever had!). Nice pool. Would certainly return.
The site is very well maintained, and the staff most of whom speak excellent English are very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free around the site. Easy walking and cycling from the site into Loix which has a small but very nice centre ville. Great for dog owners as the site opens out directly onto a path that is vehicle free, with a 5 minute walk to the coastal path. would certainly stay here again.
A very pleasant site on the outskirts of Loix.
1) Showers lukewarm to cold, this may be OK if it\'s hot and sunny but not when it\'s cold!
2) Chemical emptying point: The trap is at ground level, so not easy for people with restricted mobility.
3) Very slow FREE or very expensive Wi-Fi
Good, all serviced pitches long enough and wide enough to take the caravan at any angle, as well as the car.
Close to the sea with small sandy beaches at high tide.
Loads of cycling and long walks.
Friendly, helpful staff.
If we come to this area again, we would definitely consider this site again
Nice separate pitches. Quiet but very pretty village. A lovely sheltered beach within cycling/walking distance. Cycling paradise.
A great site - toilets always immaculate, good size shower cubicles - not unisex - stunning location 10 mins walk from Loix with its restaurants, shops and market. Cycle path goes past the front entrance. The bar can be noisy but not excessive, the food there was pretty ordinary but not expensive - staff very friendly. The swimming pool looked very inviting but we did not use it. Would definitely recommend this site in the quiet season - it\'s probably very busy in July/August
