Very friendly and helpful staff and a great location for nearby restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely campsite within walking distance of promenade, beach and local restaurants. Village about a 20 minute walk, daily morning indoor market and weekly street market. Bus stop to La Rochelle is just outside of the campsite.
Great outdoor pool, but you have to pay to use the indoor pool -which is part of a health/sauna suite. Campsite restaurant is good.
Pitches are flat and generous with lots of shade from trees. Very helpful and pleasant owners and staff.
Day trip and ferry to ile d’aix is a lovely excursion.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

We\'ve just spent 10 nights here, 2 adults and our 5 year old daughter, and we had a brilliant time. We hadn\'t booked upon arrival but Angelic and her team soon found us a pitch. The majority of the team spoke english and Angelic was fluent. The pitches vary in shapes and size so your set up is dependant on the pitch but we were given a choice of a few. Toilet facilities were very good with good washing up areas. The pool area was good with lots of sun loungers. Shallow parts for the younger ones and a deeper end for older ones. Not a massive pool but ample. Reception were very helpful with information for local attractions, bus information, and local market days. The bar offered food, we only ate there once and it was nice. There is an animation team which had the kids getting involved in treasure hunts, mini games, face painting, arts and crafts and maybe other bits we didn\'t see. Roxanne, was especially brilliant with keeping the children interested and getting them involved. Overall we had a fantastic time and thank all the staff for making our stay a great one!

This site is very compact, we arrived and were split up from our other party who were also in a MoHo ... the first two sites were really not acceptable.. but the staff went out of their way to help find a suitable solution.
The washing machine facilities are great, you don’t have to stay by the washer you get a key to lock the laundry room up whist your washing is on. The showed are clean and spacious. There is a beach close by and plenty of places to eat near the site.

We stayed here for a week in a June. Fabulous Caravan Pk with spotless facilities. Lovely walks around the coastline into the local Village (about 20 min walk away). There are a few Restaurants close to the Caravan Pk also. The Staff were always very helpful. We would definitely recommend this Caravan Pk and hopefully return again next year

Travelling in a motorhome, easy to find, good access & spacious pitches. Very friendly reception from all staff, pool is lovely, we ate in the restaurant & food was good. You can cycle to Chatelaillon along the promenade (pedestrians have priority) which is much more pleasant than cycling on the road which is narrow & busy in places. High season rate (no ACSI card discount) is rather high per night. Excellent daily market (fresh produce) in Chatelaillon. Would come here again.

Nice campsite but the dearest we have stayed in on our month long trip. Were not given a choice of patch to start with but moved when complained. Shortage of drinking water taps. Bizarrely had to get a token from reception to fill up with water. Were not told about this and had to ask.

This site is now firmly on our “must visit” list, I did an extensive review a while back now, nothing has changed! Still a wonderfully relaxing site to stay on, really friendly staff, all the facilities are excellent. If anyone is thinking of starting a campsite they should visit this one to see just how well it can be done. I cannot praise it enough!! Maybe I shouldn’t though just in case there isn’t any room for me next time??

Lovely site with good facilities, close to a few shops and restaurants. A walk into the town gives many shops and restaurants/ bars. The markets are worth visiting.

"Pleasant family campsite with predominantly still real camping plots, partly under high trees on 150 m from the sea. Perfect sanitary facilities and spacious plots. Charming little fishing village, very suitable as a starting point for a visit to the islands of Ré and Aix. Located between the historic and tourist towns of La Rochelle and Rochefort. Châtelaillon and its surroundings are very good to explore by bike."
