Very nice at arriving on site was very helpful and very nice at reception pitch was very good for a 8m motor Home showersetc were very good area was very good to explore bar restaurants not used ,swimming poll looks very good was busy but not used by us only 1/2hour from Motor Way town near by
Nice little site but beware of reverse polarity at least on our pitch. Avoid driving into Mers as narrow hilly access to site from there. Pleasant situation in countryside. Too far to walk into town but good if you are cyclist apart from hill back up. Toilet facilities clean and supply paper though not soap. Only stayed one night due to reverse polarity. Good value for money. Le Treport and Mers lovely to visit.
Previous comments about the water being cold in showers and washing up are correct, but they were clean when we were there. Staff were pleasant. The comments about the narrow road access are also correct. The narrow road access lends itself more to a long stay in a caravan so you can use your car rather than a stop over site. The pool looked good, but too cold to use.
Stayed at this campsite for a week to visit the area. staff very welcoming and helpful. One spoke very good english. Showers and toilet block very dated and only just acceptable, certainly not the cleanest that we have enjoyed on our holiday. The water was on the cold side of tepid which put us right off. The site is situated 1.5Km from the main road down a small road which could prove difficult for larger units.
Have just returned from a 14 day stay, we intended just 7 but was enjoying the area and the swimming pool so much we stayed a fortnight. From day one Emmanual the manager of the sight was great, always a smiling face and could not do enough for us. He spoke super english which helped us no end. Our favourite outing was to le Treport with its free funicular railway. Motorhome service point was perfect. We used the heated indoor pool every day which was kept at a very enjoyable temperature. WiFi was available at our pitch although the signal was weak but free as well. So thanks emmanual for making our stay so memerable, we shall return next year. Showers were always hot and clean. Stayed for 2 nights towards end of season. The site was mainly statics with spaces for tourers in between and the road around the site was bumpy and full of potholes. Many of the pitches were unusable and cordoned off, maybe to allow the grass to regrow. Our pitch was small & boggy. Facilities mixed but cubicles were large and there was plenty of hot water. No walks in immediate vicinity but local town quite pretty and you can walk from there to Le Tréport, a typical fishing community. In my opinion though, it is too far to walk into Mers-Le-Bains from the site. Wouldn't rush back.
We arrived for two nights and stayed a week in June 2012. The pitches are ample off-season. Showers and washing up facilities are good. Wifi is EXCELLENT. But there's no dryer as stated in the ACSI guide and nowhere to string a close line. Finally strung one between the caravan & a cabin railing. Staff very friendly; one speaks English. Ample cultural and touristic sites in the neighborhood. Traffic on road alongside camping only during rush hour and not that bad.
