Lovely site - well run, friendly, welcoming owners. Excellent facilities: toilet paper, loo seats, soap, hand driers and inside washing-up. Bread van calls every morning. Nice sized pitches, some beside a fishing lake. Good restaurant nearby on the canal and local bus service to St Quentin. Good value for money.
We only stayed one night as a stopover from the Eurotunne.l The pitch was very small but private. A perfect site if you are a fisherman and the toilet facilities were good, with separate facilities for men and women.
This site is a brilliant stop over site, with a lovely canal walk nearby. Facilities very good. War graves nearby, very moving.
Stayed in our 5th wheel for 2 nights on our way south. Access to the site was fine for our 12m combination. We were given a large gravel pitch right next to the lake which was very pleasant. Toilet/shower and washing up facilities were excellent.
We cycled along the canal into St Quentin and visited the local war cemetery which was interesting. We\'d happily use this site again.
Lovely pleasant campsite. Friendly, helpful owners; nice spacious pitch with shade, clean modern facilities, snack bar and bread order. Shop and bar in village and very short walk to fish restaurant on canal. Good cycling and bus from site into St Quentin. Recommended.
We did a one night stopover, lovely spot, really helpful staff. Great facilities, shower block really good. Nice small cafe/pub good food and beer. Would stop again.
Just a stopover on our way south. We were allocated a very nice lakeside pitch and enjoyed a walk around other lakes and into the village. Unfortunately the power supply was a let down as it was only 200volts which meant our fridge would only work on gas, our coffee machine would not switch on and the kettle and microwave took ages to do anything. All were fine at the next site where the voltage was normal. I did report this issue so it may have been corrected.
This is a good stopover site. We stayed two nights. The showers and toilets were very good. There is a lovely lake which is popular for fishing. The site in a tiny village where we visited a WW1 cemetery but otherwise the surroundings are unremarkable.
We stopped here on our way south around tow hours from the tunnel we were allocated a site which Was large and flat. The site is vey pleasant on the due of a small fishing lake. There was a small bar on site serving food but we didn't use it. The site is on the edge of a small village with a small supermarket two minutes walk away. There is also a Second World War cemetery within walking distance and the Somme river runs behind the site through a park. I think we were overcharged despite having a camping card. The lady in the office didn't speak any English. We didn't use the toilet facilities so can't comment. I would stay again.
We used the site as we wanted to visit Thiepval memorial. We would stay here again. The pitches are big enough and the facilities are absolutely fine. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. There are some pleasant walks in the area but not a lot to do in the village.
