Just a stopover on our way south. We were allocated a very nice lakeside pitch and enjoyed a walk around other lakes and into the village. Unfortunately the power supply was a let down as it was only 200volts which meant our fridge would only work on gas, our coffee machine would not switch on and the kettle and microwave took ages to do anything. All were fine at the next site where the voltage was normal. I did report this issue so it may have been corrected.
This is a good stopover site. We stayed two nights. The showers and toilets were very good. There is a lovely lake which is popular for fishing. The site in a tiny village where we visited a WW1 cemetery but otherwise the surroundings are unremarkable.
We stopped here on our way south around tow hours from the tunnel we were allocated a site which Was large and flat. The site is vey pleasant on the due of a small fishing lake. There was a small bar on site serving food but we didn\'t use it. The site is on the edge of a small village with a small supermarket two minutes walk away. There is also a Second World War cemetery within walking distance and the Somme river runs behind the site through a park. I think we were overcharged despite having a camping card. The lady in the office didn\'t speak any English. We didn\'t use the toilet facilities so can\'t comment. I would stay again.
We used the site as we wanted to visit Thiepval memorial. We would stay here again. The pitches are big enough and the facilities are absolutely fine. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. There are some pleasant walks in the area but not a lot to do in the village.
Nice \"stop over\" site with friendly, English speaking staff. Quiet site in pleasant surroundings. We have used this site a few times over the years as it is the right distance from Calais for the first stop.
We first used this site in 2012 and it was very good however on our visit in 2016 there was a substantial deterioration. Considering they obtain a lot of customers from the Shuttle you would think they would understand that delays do occur. We arrived a little after 8 and my wife was treated like a naughty child and overcharged. The sites were unkept and overgrown an had a serious mosquito problem due to areas of untreated stagnant water.
Not a site we will be revisiting.
Lovely rural site, Great stop over. Good for fresh water fishing. Near WW1 memorials. Good for walking and cycling.
Great site for a stopover. Friendly reception. As the weather was wet we were allocated a hard standing pith overlooking the lakes. This was a little small with restricted \'sitting out\' space but sitting in the van with the door open we had a lovely view. Facilities were good and there was loads of information in the entry hall. As stated in previous reviews these pitches are quite a way form the facilities block. Nice village but we abandoned getting fuel from the local supermarket due to the small size of the car park and tight access to it.
A very useful site as a stopover to/from the Channel but otherwise to us it was unremarkable. Very Brit dominated also the toilets may well be under pressure in the high season. MH pitches are very tight but ok for a night. Keep your eyes on the children - we had water on both sides of our pitch!! Everything worked ok but no bread van as promised. Lots of statics. Will use again as stopover.
Small but well formed, pleasant location, bread van arrives in the morning. Little shop just outside campsite. Toilets clean, with soap, paper and indoor washing facilities for clothes and dishes
