Nicely situated site - took ACSI card no problem. Showers and toilets ok - water not that hot and movement detector showers lights etc don’t make it easy. Nice walking by the river - easy to find. Good size pitches. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Wifi at pitch good -per 24 hrs but be aware only for one device.

Travelling party: Couple

First night stopover. Pitches reasonable size and level. Staff friendly and helpful. Covered swimming pool good size. Eating area rather basic and food available limited and in our case over cooked. No toilet paper or soap in toilet facilities. 4 star campsite rating seems a little generous based on site and comparable rated sites.

We have been coming to this site for nearly 30 years so it was good to discover that it is now an ACSI site so the off-peak price is more affordable. It is extremely well located close to the Autoroute and about three hours from Calais, before Reims.
The site is well maintained with large pitches separated by hedges and bushes. Shade, partial shade and sunny pitches all available. The owners are welcoming and bread is available to order. There is a small restaurant for snacks etc.
The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy although the water flow is controlled by proximity detectors in showers and basins which can be quite frustrating. Also the water was not quite hot enough during our stay.
There is a small supermarket with fuel (not suitable for caravan access) quite close to the site.
There are quite a few statics in a separate area and the heated pool seems to be largely used by these longer stay visitors.
Despite some reservations concerning the showers and basins this is an excellent site for an overnight or longer stay.

A lovely site and the owners can’t do enough for you. Clean facilities and snack menu, pizza etc but a superb site. We will definitely be back. Booked for two nights and stayed for three. The typhoon did nothing to take a away from the site and how relaxed and comfortable it was. Food and drink good value too.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Nice stay for 2 days and a short walk into town for market day. Friendly staff, even came looking for me after I tried to open door when shut.
We stayed at the bottom end, backing onto a road, nice and shady, hedges both sides, can’t see road but there was occasional cars going past, certainly not enough for us to notice.
Toilets etc nice and clean.
Close to huge shopping centre with restaurants and fuel etc.

we use the site regularly as a stop over after/ before the ferry from/to Dover. It is very clean and the sanitary block was all new in 2013 so do ignore a comment made before that date by someone. It is not cheap but there are so few sites in this area; it does not accept the ACSI card for discount rates. the staff are really helpful and welcoming.

Travelling party: Seniors

Terrific site, very friendly staff giving a great welcome. The facilities are terrific although we didn't get the chance to use the sauna but it looked very appealing. A great site for a stop over due to it's proximity to the motorway, but it would be great site for a longer stay.

Travelling party: Seniors

For a Brit on the way south this is an ideal stop-over (150 miles from Calais) that deserves much more than it's 2 stars.
The sanitaries were state of the art, washing up and laundry facilities excellent. It made us regret we had booked for longer. Wonderful site, and only 3 miles from the A26

Travelling party: Group of friends

We stayed here for two nights. We could choose our own pitch either by the river or elsewhere. Please be aware of the toilets/showers, the toilets are filthy, no seats to sit on!! and please take your own toilet roll as none supplied. The showers are very small and you had to press the water button for ages to get some luke warm water to have a shower!! The small town is not far to walk to, with a very good supermarket. We could have our own BBQ outside our motorhome. You have to pay for the wifi which we thought very expensive. It's ok for a stopover, but that's about all, as the toilets/showers really put us off. We had a switch card to come and go off site, which opened the barriers, but the staff wouldn't give us our passport back until we handed in the card the day we left. Wouldn't recommend this site, after a long day of driving you need a hot shower which wasn't the case.
