Travelling party: Seniors

First class site with excellent facilities including a new sanitary block. These are kept scrubuisly clean. Very large pitchesclean. Easy walk into nearby town and helpful staff provided a map with your route from the campsite marked out. Very popular with the Brits.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site well situated to visit the town. Staff helpful and efficient. Pitches of generous proportions. Facilities a tad dated but satisfactory.

Travelling party: Seniors

We had two nights here as a last stopover on our way home. Reception was friendly and efficient, English spoken. Good sized pitches, grassy but a little scruffy. Toilets and showers adequate but a bit tired. Could only find cold water for washing up. The town is a pleasant 10 mins walk by the river, which virtually surrounds the site. Not at all touristy, very good choice of restaurants and bars. Two small supermarkets close by (no shop on site, but bread delivered weekends in June, and I think each day in high season) and bigger ones a 10 mins drive. WiFi free and quite good.

Travelling party: Couple

This site was excellent. The staff were very helpful, the pitches were a good size.
The sports facilities and cycle routes in the area are good.

Travelling party: Couple

This was a very good find of a campsite. A pleasant welcome, good sized pitches on the banks of the river and with a good town within 5 minutes walk. Throw in some fairly up to date facilities, kept clean and plenty of hot water which would put more expensive sites to shame. There\'s a small town centre type supermarket within barely 5 minutes and two large supermarkets a little further away. Throw in Wi-Fi and a 30 kilometre greenway for cyclists in addition to other cycle tracks around and it\'s a site we will be likely to return to.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for one night. Quite a queue at reception for the 2pm opening. Lovely site, good sized pitches, very green.
Toilets were very clean. Only the ladies had seats though, good powerful showers.
The town was lovely to walk around, plenty of bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. We will happily return.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Great site, have stayed several times before. manager has just changed so some aspects were not as good as before i.e. repair work going on in toilets, grass a bit long; but in spite of this I would highly recommend site especially with children. Lake nearby adds variety and is within walking distance, great pool, lovely town.

Travelling party: Couple

Wonderful campsite recommended by friends some years ago and we have visited for a few days every year since. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Also the manager speaks good English. The pitches are a good size and the campsite very attractive and well kept with wonderful views over the river. La Flèche is within a short walk of the site and is a lovely town, especially for a drink in the evening sunshine. There are good supermarkets and filling stations nearby.

Have stayed at this site on several occasions. You get a warm welcome and manager very helpful. Excellent clean and well run facilities and lovely town within 5 mins walking distance. So many places to visit in the area. Highly recommend it for a long stay.
