Toilet facilities despite renovation in 2017 seem dated. Showers are at a set temperature so you cannot cool off at the end of a hot day. On several days the ladies toilets were without toilet paper. Ladies toilets would appear to be worse than the Mens and show no sign of renovation.
The site doesn't have entertainment as such, perhaps the odd bbq near the pool or restaurant. However the chateaux is hired out for weddings etc and two weekends running we were treated to the thumping base of a wedding reception until 4:00 in the morning.
Pitches are in a lovely setting and are larger than average. We tend to use serviced/comfort pitches when possible but here the grey waste is at the top of a sloping pitch - not ideal.

First visit here. Spacious campsite though some of the turns into site roads were a little tight with a big van due to the hedges. We also saw smaller vans having to jiggle about. There are plenty of pitches available with easy access too. Toilet and shower facilities are adequate but there were broken tiles in showers and they do need a revamp to bring them up to a good standard. Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. Nice large pitches overlooking the lake were very well kept and fortunately the mosquitoes kept away when we were there. A planned three day stay turned into eight days. It was fairly quiet when we were there in late June and the restaurant was closed on most if not all the days. The large swimming pool was quite under used despite it being very hot. No idea why! From the site many outstanding places are within easy reach, La Roche-Bernard, St Nazaire, Rochefort-en-Terre are certainly worth a visit. Definitely a site to return to in the future.

Having stayed here before we felt standards had dropped, although this may just be the transition from one management to another. Facilities did not compete with any other site we stayed on whilst touring and looked in need of a revamp. Bar restaurant was closed which was disappointing as World Cup was on! Great location with easy access as a stopover.

A quiet rural site where the birds sing all day and with a great pool just across the road where there is also a shop with the basics and a pub/restaurant which serves some very nice food.
The campsite is under new management this year and it shows. Pitches are more spacious as all the hedges have been cut back. New flower pots being put in while we were there and the toilets have been renovated and modernised since our last visit. A good stop off for visiting St Nazire and the Briere regional park. It is also close to the seaside resort of La Baule. We hope to return again next year
