Stopped for two nights en route home, booked on line which was very easy, to ensure a pitch. Pitches are large and level, the heated toilet facilities are the best I have seen and spotless, didn\'t try the restaurant as not open when we stayed, nor did we use the pool although we were offered on arrival. Nice walks for dogs right by the campsite & tram into centre just outside (although we walked it as dogs not allowed on trams). There is a little spa supermarket for essentials just a couple of minutes walk away. Reception ladies very polite and courteous, would recommend and return, ideal for visiting Nantes.

Stayed 2 nights Jan 2020.This is an excellent site with very good facilities.Good sized hard standing pitches.Tram stop just outside site with direct access into city centre. Supermarket close by. Will definitely use again.

Stayed 2 nights mid/late October. Excellent place. Toilets/showers all separate M/F clean & warm. Pitch flat & spacious. Quite spread out camp. Restaurant closed during month October! Shame! Reception staff pleasant, spoke English & provided city map, directions to tram. Bought 24hr ticket for 4 persons for tram. (Used early evening 1st day so was able to fully use 24hr next day) Nantes nice city, will come again. Interesting tourist visit to the Ile Le Machines!

Visited in September so didn’t book. All ACSI pitches taken, only choice was expensive premium pitch. Not worth the double ACSI charge. Shortage of wcs, very strange, not good. Good restaurant. Take tram into town, too busy for safe cycling, city only cycle friendly for natives!

    Travelling party: Couple

Well placed for visiting Nantes as close to tramline. Good sized pitches, well laid out roadways. Best to avoid arriving between 12.30 and 2pm as the access is off a busy roundabout and the run in to reception is relatively short. When reception is closed, the waiting area soon fills and you cannot gain access. Whilst the sanitary facilities are very good quality, due to the small number of shower, washbasin and toilet cubicles, they would be very stretched at busy times.

An immaculate kept site, very clean huge showers and toilets only downside only 4 ladies and 4 men\'s cubicles between 2 very large blocks of facilities. We would go there again despite this.

staff are great. access to Nantes is great. site is good. Sanatries showers full of little black flies and two out of four days no hot water for showers or dishes shame.Would I come back probably not.

when we were here in June, the camping was almost completely full. We were surprised that the toilet blocks were not cleaner. Maybe the staff were under pressure to maintain standards due to large number of campers? The grounds and restaurant/bar, playground etc were in excellent order.

This site is ideally suited for visiting Nantes. Tram tickets can be purchased for single fares at the tram stop just outside, or day passes from Campsite Reception. ACSI pitches are in high demand (full by 11am when we were here in May), so be sure to book ahead if you can. We didn\'t, but were able to get a pitch on arrival without electricity for two nights, which was fine for us as we have solar. Sanitary facilities are of a high standard and the site is surprisingly quiet for an urban location. Nantes is an amazing city and definitely warrants a return visit. We\'d recommend this site. In fact we already have!
