staff are great. access to Nantes is great. site is good. Sanatries showers full of little black flies and two out of four days no hot water for showers or dishes shame.Would I come back probably not.

when we were here in June, the camping was almost completely full. We were surprised that the toilet blocks were not cleaner. Maybe the staff were under pressure to maintain standards due to large number of campers? The grounds and restaurant/bar, playground etc were in excellent order.

This site is ideally suited for visiting Nantes. Tram tickets can be purchased for single fares at the tram stop just outside, or day passes from Campsite Reception. ACSI pitches are in high demand (full by 11am when we were here in May), so be sure to book ahead if you can. We didn\'t, but were able to get a pitch on arrival without electricity for two nights, which was fine for us as we have solar. Sanitary facilities are of a high standard and the site is surprisingly quiet for an urban location. Nantes is an amazing city and definitely warrants a return visit. We\'d recommend this site. In fact we already have!

We arrived early as we wanted to make the most of our day in Nantes and were dealt with efficiently despite us having no booking and it being a National Holiday. Heating in the sanitation block was lovely, very luxurious. We were given good information about cycling into the city to see what we wanted.

Stayed for one night as a stopover. Great for visiting Nantes. Pitches ok and various sizes. Free Wifi throughout site. Didnt use any facilities so can\'t comment. Would use site again.

Very large site with friendly staff. Toilet facilities were inadequate for the quantity of campers. Only 2 toilets in a block for the ladies. ( same for the men). Good cheap transport to get into Nantes. All day public transport ticket for 4 was a bargain.

Excellent site for visiting Nantes, tram stop just outside site every couple of minutes. Site clean and tidy, staff very helpful. Quiet surroundings even though just off a main road. We arrived at noon on the day of the carnival in town. Staff informed us about it and gave information on how to get to the centre, it was brilliant. Sanitary facilities very clean, showers more like wet rooms. Nantes pass available from tourist information in city but beware, some museums not open when they said and others not so interesting. Take a free look at the mechanical elephant but unless your are an engineer or highly interested in machines, don\'t bother with the Gallery of machines, a bit of a rip off.

Very disappointed with this site given other reviews. Whilst the sanitary facilities are modern/clean they are totally inadequate for the number of people using the site. For some bizarre reason the vanity basins are in with the shower so someone using the basin stops anyone wanting a shower. In the block near us there were two toilets, one for disabled, two showers/vanity basins and a further shower for the disabled. You also pay a hefty price presumably for being near the city.

We hadn't planned to stay here, but decided to divert from our intended path. The camp site is wonderful and very professionally run. The price includes WiFi which extended to the furthest pitch from reception. It is indeed a long walk from the furthest pitch - I guess around 200 metres. You can walk into Nantes or use the tram. A city worth visiting for at least a day.
