Travelling party: Couple

Pleasant site, friendly staff, stayed only one night as a stop over heading south. Good touring pitches and bar area with free WiFi.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed for 1 night on our way to the ferry. Lovely welcome from the owner - great large pitch. Flat site, towing pitches well laid out adjacent to a fairly busy road. Toilet facilities old but clean. Lots of residential mobile homes housing young men of different nationalities shouting into their mobile phones! One night was fine. Wouldn’t stay longer

Reaction from the campsite 30 May 2018

Dear Mr Fryer,
thank you very much for your review.
I am very sorry about any inconvienience due to the workers staying momentarily on the campsite and speaking too loud on their phones. Should you have told me, I would have taken immediate action to stop it.
Kind regards,

Ivan Loveridge, on this campsite in June 2017

Travelling party: Seniors

Chose to stay here because acsi considers it to be and I quote ( a relaxing atmosphere ), nothing could be farther from the truth, had a really bad experience with noise and intimidation from a group of young basketball players, left early, management claim different people have different perception of noise, will not return, good region for quiet roads to cycle on though.

Reaction from the campsite 24 October 2017

Dear Mr Loveridge,
I am very sorry I was not able to give you entire satisfaction.
Should you have told me you had a problem though, I would have immediately taken action.
Unfortunately you chose to leave the campsite early without even telling me how disappointed your were and that you were not coming back. I kept your pitch for a whole day for nothing. I kept the bread you had ordered in vain. I was very worried something wrong had happened to you and even sent you an email in order to know how you were. You replied several days later by telling me I was arrogant when all I was was worried you had been injured or had an accident. I am deeply sorry about this situation and hope you had a nice stay in France though. Best regards

Stayed for one night on way to Royan. Almost put of by some reviews. Very glad that we ignored them. Friendly welcome at reception, modern clean shower block, good sized well maintained pitch. Inviting covered swimming pool. Short but enjoyable visit.

Reaction from the campsite 26 October 2016

Thank you very much for your lovely comment. We do our best to keep our customers satisfied and it's a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. We will be delighted to see you again on your way back to the UK. Best wishes

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed on this site for 5 nights, in my opinion not the best site I have visited. On the last night which happened to be a Friday the people who actually own static caravans turned up and it seems they all visited the open restaurant area this was evident by the noise that was being made, this went on till 1 in the morning.
If staying at this site I would recommend that you have your own transport.
Super U 800 metres away very handy.
In my opinion Campsite not all that well looked after, and looked very tired.
WiFi free but you need to go to the open restaurant area to access this.
Would I go there again yes but just to use it as a base.

Reaction from the campsite 27 February 2016

Dear Mr Vickers,
thank you for your opinion.
We are very sorry to hear that your stay was disturbed by some noisy campers.
Rest assured we do our best to enable our customers to live peacefully together on our campsite.
The supermarket is indeed 500 meters from our site. It is easily accessible through a special path for pedestrians and cyclists.
Wifi is free and accessible from the reception area, as stated on our website.
Should you like to come over again, please let us know what we can do to help you have a nice and pleasant stay with us.
Best regards,
