Very good site for overnight stop when using the tunnel which is only 10minutes away. Staff very helpful although closed for lunch but will come out and allocate pitch on arrival. Nice bracing walk on the English channel. Good shopping locally and Dunkirk worth a visit.

Stayed here as an overnight stop before heading through the tunnel. We were a bit worried after reading the reviews about the ducks, but. Although they were noisy through the day they quietened down at night. Large grassy pitches, close to the beach, would definitely return.

OK for an overnight ferry / tunnel stay. Good facilities but annoying 5 second shower buttons and based on notices showers are closed during the daytime in summer. They have pitches for Motorhomes with a couple of slabs positioned for the driving wheels - trouble is they are not level which make getting the other axle on the ramps tricky. The site is in an excellent location for the beach and Sangatte is now a very pleasant town.

I am truly amazed at the improvements this site has made since my last visit in 2015.
Super large pitches, great sanitaire upgrade, full Euro electric hook ups with loads of amps. Exceptionally well kept site overall.
Great welcome on arrival and so helpful.
Tunnel or port this is well placed for quick and easy access to both.
Big improvements to the promenade and beaches with only 200 metres walk to the beach and the Canadian D Day memorial.
Wholeheartedly recommended

We crossed via the tunnel late and arrived at the campsite around 7pm. Very accommodating staff. Close to the beach and with 30 mins from the train this worked well for us. Booked to stay on our return trip to the UK. Some large pitches for our car and trailer with no need to unhitch. Facilities were fine for our 1 night stopovers...

Very convenient for the Tunnel and generally a nice site. But the ducks are noisy if you are on those pitches by the pond - we were on no14 and the ducks quacked all night. Walking distance to town and beach but most restaurants and shops were closed including the boulangerie. We had a nice meal at Le Blanc Nez - but it was the only place open (Tuesday night).

Really liked this site and the beach is fantastic. Lady on reception lovely and very helpful. We arrived at 7pm on a Sunday evening and had hand made pizzas from the van on site ready for us in 15 mins. The ducks on the pond next door are very vocal, but only pitches 12 to 20 to avoid if you are a light sleeper. Great to drive 10 minutes from the tunnel and be somewhere so relaxing so soon. Town is sleepy but there is a big supermarket, Auchan, 2k up the road with an excellent selection.

Delightful campsite in Sangatte very close to the town with loads to do and see. Pitches were a little tight for Motorhomes but we got in ok with an 8m van. It is a lovely site for a stop over or a few days rest on your travels. Great walking and views of English coast when the weather is good. Loads of restaurants nearby. Very safe and secure setting. We will use it again.
