Travelling party: Couple

Stayed here April and September.
A rural oasis of calm and charm.
All facilities are just right even for the most discerning of campers.
Oliver and Julien the most perfect of mine hosts.
Great market in St Omer and the Auchan there the eighth wonder of the world!
Plenty to explore in the area.
Highly recommended.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely natural surroundings. Pitches large with hedges to some pitch edges. No lights in the emplacements at night, limited timed lights in toilet blocks. Plenty of hot water.
Coq au vin in restaurant seemed to have come from a tin of Coq au vin - not what I expected for the price!

Our second visit, this time on arriving in Europe rather than going home. Lovely site with extremely helpful staff who make you feel very welcome. Plenty to do with swimming, tennis, playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment and nice areas to walk the dogs. We enjoyed a takeaway pizza having decided to cancel our restaurant reservation because many guests use the restaurant/bar as a public walkway whether dining or not. Consequently it didn’t look to be quiet and relaxed. And the pizza was fab! We were too early for the acsi rate and did think the cost was way too high. But we will return, we’ll just make sure the discounted rate applies.

We have used this site many times when travelling north and south in France. The staff in reception are always very helpful and can sort any problems, they can even book appointments for the vet if you are travelling with a dog. The pitches are a good size with easy access. The restaurant and takeaway are good value for money the menu is small but the food is very good. Toilets and showers are always clean and hot. Ideally situated for visiting WW1 & WW2 sites and the Blockhaus just down the road is excellent. We will continue to use this site.

Beautiful grounds! Nice feel about the place. Let down by filthy toilets that were in need of a renovation. My kids enjoyed the playground pool and bouncy castle.

This campsite is one of the best sites we stayed at in many years camping in France, and to think we only discovered it this year, stayed for a week on our way home, thoroughly enjoyed it. And we have to say this, much of its success has to be down to Julian the life of the place. Julian, we love you

Beautiful site very friendly staff ideally suited to last stop before Calais or Dunkirk, das blockhouse is well worth a visit if you like ww2 history.we used the restaurant and were very pleased there are a couple of supermarkets nearby for food and fuel. All good would definately go back.

One of our favourite sites, we have stayed many times. Toilet/shower facilities are clean but could do with being updated

This is a very nice site. The staff are friendly and in particular there is a man there who speaks excellent English. The site is not far from Calais so ideal to stay at before catching the ferry from Calais. There is a Carrefour fairly close to the site, although not that big. There are other Supermarkets a little further away.

Travelling party: Young couple

Nicely situated campsite, easy to find and only about 30mins from Calais. Supermarket just down the road. Spacious pitches with nice surroundings, European adapter required for hook-up. Staff were friendly and polite, restaurant/bar seemed overwhelmed however with volume of customers during the bank holiday weekend. Beer was fab, food was average. Overall a pleasant stay, would come back!
