Pleasant setting with plenty of shade. One pool the larger out of use with green slime and debris. Second pool rather small. Whole pool area in need of renovation. Ideal stopover site.
Food in restaurant, choices limited but tasty.
Will use again but hopefully pools sorted
Not worth the price at present
Excellent site with well maintained pitches and spotless facilities. Plenty of hot water. Good management that are always helpful. Used this site for many years for arriving and leaving France and would not consider anywhere else. Area is definitely worth a few days exploring.
good site suitable for all types, pools are good and heated. Wasn\'t that impressed with the restaurant food although it was reasonably priced, the chips tasted as if they were cooked in old oil.
We used this site for one night at the start and end of our holidays. Really friendly reception staff and good quality toilets and showers ( seats and paper in toilets). The site had a lot of people on but still felt quiet. Would definitely go again.
Lovely campsite will definitely use again. Handy for first night in France. Nice walks for dogs and good sized pitches. Very helpful reception staff.
First time using this site and it\'s a gem. As previously mentioned its location in respect of the Channel crossing points is ideal, either setting off into the Continent or going home. Because of this, there are a lot of arrivals and departures, but hey, that makes entertaining watching. On investigation, you\'ll find there\'s more to do and see on this area than you may have thought, it\'s not just an area to rush through. The old test applies, would we come back again? Answer, a resounding YES....
Spacious plots, friendly staff. Clean toilets & washing facilities. 30 mins from Calais. Surrounded by trees and fields. The heated pool was lovely. Not far from the WW2 Blockhaus about about 20 min bike ride. Ideal for a couple nights stay to relax. One couple we met delayed there return journey as we\'re not ready to leave France for UK. Great for dogs as can exercise them in small woodland area. Really enjoyed our stay. Our first stop of a 365 day tour around Europe.
Stayed here end of May & on our way back in July, have been here several time in the last few years which says in all, a nice site for a few days or longer. Staff freindly & helpful. Site surrounded by trees, good sized pitches some with shade, has a restaurant with good food at resonable prices, nice pool. With ACSI good value for the money, will be back again.
A good stopping location if going to or coming from channel crossing. The \'Blockhouse\' is a 20 minute walk from the camp site. This is were Germany we\'re going to fire V1 & V2 rockets at U.K. In world war 2. Fortunately the RAF got to it before it became operational. Some pitches have plastic matting buried in the grass - this makes it difficult to use levellers especially when wet. Toilet block appears to have no heating - very cold when we were there. Site restaurant ok. Reception staff very good. Supermarket down the road in Watten.
Very expensive site and: toilets nowhere near sinks, so get out of the toilet (very dark as well) and having to go to the other side of the toilet block to wash hands. NO soap provided, and for the price I was expecting it. Also, no loo brushes in the toilets....(newer looking block). Two out of three of us only had a cold shower, as there was no hot water.
Only found one location for throwing rubbish away, and we were a long distance from it (more than 5 minutes walk).
Food in the restaurant very good at a decent price. Signposted along the road.
