We found the location excellent, but several aspects of the site were not up to an acceptable standard. The pitches are covered in mole and worm hills, which spoils what could be a good pitch.
We would be very concerned by the hygiene of the sanitary block ,where small rubbish buckets were left overflowing for several days ,and other rubbish in the central area which could attract vermin.
Furthermore, the chemical waste is very poor and unhygienic.
Not a good example of a Flower campsite.
was going to stop but didn\'t lok very nice site so stopped in free aire next to the campsite
nice town with good restaurants
supermarket 5 minutes drive
nice abbey to visit and market
Okay. Nice town with tourist emphasis within easy walk but some uphill. Tourist prices too. Site fine except campers don\'t seems to realise that dust roads mean dust everywhere if you drive inappropriately fast. Stayed two nights and didn\'t use pool or bar. Toilets /showers okay except for temperature variations even when under light use. Looked like some long termers. Two night\'s enough for us. Walk out of site to reach the river. Wont be rushing back but fine for short stop.
Ideal location for walking into town, although in June it was very quiet in evenings. Two supermarkets close by (Le Clerc and Lidl). Very pleased with location of our pitch which was sunny, spacious and slightly raised above many other pitches. Grass was rather long, but typical in France at this time of year. Some other pitches looked less spacious.
Staff very helpful and welcoming. Bar and snack bar not open at this time. Toilets clean with loo paper, but mixed sex and doors open-air rather then within building. Would use again.
Generally a good site with good facilities but Showers in one block had no hot water but fortunately OK in the other block. Although next to the river not really accessible without walking out via entrance. Nice riverside walk.
Easy access to large level site, which includes chalets and ready erected tents. Some shade from trees.
Staff excellent, facilities too, modern and clean. Pool looked very good, but too cold for us when we visited.
15 minutes walk to interesting town.
Walks from site and in the area, various attractions including caves in the area.
"Flower" campsite with level, grass pitches quite muddy too when we were there. Reception didn't open in the afternoon till 3pm.....luckily we arrived just after this so didn't have to wait.
New outdoor toilet block with plenty of hot water. The inside block wasn't open during our visit (surely early season this is when this should be used?).
Free wifi all over site. Intermarche and large Leclerc nearby.
Easy access for large caravan. Swimming pool heated, lovely and clean. Toilet block very good, showers very good. Pitch had no grass and a lot of mole hills, next to hedge by river, noisy scooters on river path around 5pm and smelled of fumes (not a big problem didn't last long). Lots of pollen/fluff from trees everywhere. Free wifi very good.
A beautiful site. Spacious well kid out pitches. As we were there at the very end of June we expected it to be a little busier but it was still nice & quiet. Toilets mixed but we have no issue with that, always clean & good capacity. Lovely pool area with bar. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Staff spoke good English & we're very helpful. It was a lovely walk into Souillac town with lots of nice small restaurants & bars & a great weekly market. We only intended to use the cite for a couple of nights on the way back to Caen but ended up staying 8!
Well kept and busy site. No warm water at dishwashing sinks but otherwise good sanitary facilities. Located on the river Dordogne with pleasant town within easy walking distance. Some pitches small. Sandy soil and not enough water points. Kept to the advertised ACSI card rates, Bread and pastries from reception by pre order previous day and excellent pool.
