Travelling party: Couple

Lovely peaceful site, well cared for and an easy stroll into Falaise. Good views of castle. Variety of shaded and unshaded pitches. New facilities with modern showers and toilets. Plenty of hot water. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Free WiFi in pleasant lounge with TV, etc

Brand new / totally refurbished toilet facilities are the best of any we have come across recently. Office hours are short but you can site yourself and register when the office opens. 10 minute walk to town centre with plenty of restaurants etc. and plenty of history as well as William the Conqueror\'s castle

What a wonderful find, lovely lady on reception very welcoming and helpful. The site is being upgraded and it’s spotless and well kept. The sanitation is almost finished and is very good quality. It’s a walk to the town a bit steep but well worth it to see the castle and museum. We’ll definitely come again and recommend to fellow campers.

Tried to get in 10th may only to find it closed completely for renovations. No indication on road signs. Very disappointed. Would expect acsi app to be up to date with this information so we could have avoided a long pointless drive. Hence low stars.

Beautiful setting. Site is lovely and quiet with hedges and trees marking out pitches. Staff very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Toilets and shower block rather tired and outdated but clean.
Nice cycle path nearby and chateau is lovely. Stayed for two nights and found it a nice, relaxing place.

Travelling party: Seniors

Stayed 4 nights late August 2018. Nice quiet campsite. Toilet/showers could do with an upgrade, but kept very clean. Views of the chateau from most pitches. Short walk into the town with various shops. Would stay here again if in the area.

This is a simple campsite which is very well placed for visiting Falaise. It\'s an easy walk to visit the castle and the very interesting WW2 museum. Our pitch had a magnificent view of the castle and was a decent size. We had some difficulty locating the site as the road near the castle is one way. You need to go through the town and follow the signs. The toilet facilities are not great but adequate and clean. The showers, though dated were pretty good.

What a shame. This site is in a beautiful setting but it is spoilt by poor sanitary provisions. There are no seats on the toilets and only lukewarm water at best in the showers. This is not acceptable in 2018 and we will not be returning.

Proper old style campsite. No pool, restaurant or bar. Not needed as you can walk into the town. Very quiet as the vehicle gates closed at ten and the wash rooms and washing up room, just the toilets left open. Wonderful view of the castle from the site from probably every pitch. Town well worth a walk round and the museum worth a visit. Did not have time to visit castle, but other campers thought worth a visit. This site is very poorly signposted and couldn\'t find any in the town coming from the South until nearly out. Take great care as your Sat nav my try to get you there down really tight roads. Better to find the sign at the northern side of the town on the mini roundabout with the brick \"tower\" on it.

Stayed here for 4 nights in late June.
Really pleasant site, helpful staff, nice town.
Chateau well worth visiting.
Will visit again.
