Travelling party: Couple

We spent one night here with the aim of visiting Collioure. Access road steep and narrow, difficult if you meet a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Pitches small, enclosed and dusty. Single toilet block, fairly clean, water temperature just adequate. Walk to nice pebbly beach and round headland to Collioure. We ate at the onsite restaurant, friendly service, freshly cooked food, though didn\'t taste like it was home-made.

Very steep and uneven road to access the site, used by both incoming and outgoing vehicles - recipe for disaster! The site itself is lovely and very close to Collioure but not designed for large vans - there is no circular route for example so if you drive in a pitch you have to reverse out and down the \'avenue\', negotiating various trees and lights. On the plus side, the staff were lovely and I\'m told the restaurant serves fabulous food, though we didn\'t go ourselves. Sadly we won\'t be returning here though because of the access difficulty. We were also disappointed with the water in the toilet block - lukewarm at best and the type of cubicle with air circulating above and below the door so showers were rather chilly!

Quiet campsite in a lovely secluded valley, all the personel are very friendly and helpful. Terraced pitches with shade. Toilets and showers adequate, beach just 200 metres down a path, good snorkelling, very nice walk round to collioure by the headland. Access road steep and unsuitable for large outfits

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

We stayed in a small tent for a few days. The area is nice. Collioure is beautiful and worth a visit. However, the ground was very rocky and hard; the toilets were filthy and pretty disgraceful. The lack of hot water to shave (but not to shower) was a minor annoyance. So, quality wise, it was not great. The beach is 200 meters, but the beach is not sandy, but with lots of pebbles. The sea is bloody cold too, in this part of the Med. Don't know why. The atmosphere in the camp site is good. It breathes an air of hippy relaxedness, but I won't be going back; you don't get much for your money.

Travelling party: Seniors

This is not a site for larger units over 6mtrs. We found the site difficult to access. We visited end of May, no hot water in the showers, facilities not very clean, grass not cut, low branches, everything a bit delapidated. Saving grace . The staff and the resturant extreamly friendly.but smiles do not always do it!

Travelling party: Seniors

The access to the site is very difficult with a caravan and we were unable to find a suitable pitch as it is very steeply terraced. It might suit campers with tents or small motorhomes but because of the access decided not to stay.
