Beware this site admits traveller groups. Despite the owners - managers insisting they were just a group of English families enjoying a birthday celebration the large twin axle vans being towed by white vans, the wooden outside dog kennels and the washing machine on a pitch said it all. The large number of children running around were almost feral and their language, even from the youngest, was appalling - we have never heard the “F” word used so frequently. We did not feel at all safe and were glad to forfeit our nights fee to move on.

Used this campsite as a stopover and it was close and easy to access. There were hard standing pitches which are good for motorhomes at the end of season as grass was very wet and soft. Only 1 small sanitary block open which was basic but did have hot showers. Site is noisy with trains running past and the local youths use the sports area to the side to meet in cars and play rave music till late at night. Worst night sleep of our 8 week trip!

Close to the motorway so excellent as stop-over but as there is a nice walk into the interesting old town well worth staying a little longer. Friendly helpful reception but would like to see more made of the site requirements re dogs on leads as we were visited frequently by a roaming canine, to the extent that I had to ask the owner to clear up from our pitch

This is a great overnight stop. It’s close to the autoroute and there’s a good supermarket nearby. The grass pitches are ok. We had 36hrs of non stop rain and we were able to move off with a caravan without any difficulty. There are hard standings available as well. We stayed for five days so that we could explore the area. Satellite reception is good. Gardien and partner are fab! Sanitaires (only one block open) were ok. Draughty and basic, but provided all the functions necessary.

Great overnight stop or good for a few days. Large pitches. Train station nearby. Easy walk into town for bars and restaurants. Good for cycling along river and the countryside. Amazing abbey in the town. Near motorway and pass two petrol stations on way to the site

We wished we hadn't read the reviews that said only stay one night as we would have stayed longer. The local town was fascinating and we could easily have spent more time there. The campsite is close to the river which was lovely. We had a peaceful pitch and fresh bread in the morning. What's not to like!

Great for a stopover. Tournus is worth a visit too. The toilets were clean and showers had plenty of hot water. This is definitely a transit site and was busy even at the beginning of May. It served its purpose though and we would use it again without hesitation.

Convenient tranit site. Wi-Fi on pitch provided you pick your spot. Short walk into town by river.

Great stop over. Friendly staff. Nice walk into village along the River Saone. Nearby shops. Good cycling along the river.
