Travelling party: Couple

Site is within walking distance of town, about 30 minutes. Lots of Roman ruins to visit but all spaced out around the vicinity so really need transport. Very interesting area. Old town is particularly magical.
However, we were disappointed with the very basic toilet (no seats on) and shower facilities which were not heated out of season. Doors left wide open to outside making showering particularly unpleasant, especially as the water was not very warm.

Lovely quiet site, very friendly staff, the campsite is very well laid out, there is a small bar, which is very nice with snack meals. Its only a short walk into the lovely town of Autun. Lots of local history to be discovered, we were only going to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4 nights, will be back, highly recommended.

A good campsite.

Pitches were spacious and some were fully shaded, some without any shade.

Toilets and showers were good, reception staff were really helpful and an onsite snack bar looked OK but was closed on the Monday.
Bread can be ordered

Excellent site for exercising dogs with lots of open space and a river to swim in.

A fair walk into town yes but well worth the effort. Roman remains (temples, amphitheatre etc) and the old town were really interesting. The central town square was particularly impressive.

We enjoyed our stay with our dog. Autun is well worth a visit and the campsite is easy walking distance from the town. Good short walks around and the dog loved swimming in the river and lake beside the campsite. Sully is a nice village nearby with a large chateau. The reception was friendly and she made us feel at ease. Dog friendly. Would use again.
