We originally asked to stay 4 nts but ended staying 15. The site is lovely, toilet facilities are extremely clean and modern. They provide toilet paper and soap. Staff were super friendly and spoke excellent English. Free WiFi available all over the site. The area is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning to this site.
Extremely well-organised campsite with excellent facilities. It can get VERY busy (though seems quiet and peaceful) - even the last week of September was almost full. The site shuts at lunchtime - good - it\'s nice and restful for those staying on site. The resident tame stork was happy to pose for photographs.
The campsite was very busy in September and we booked up a day or two in advance. The pitches are quite packed together but there is a nice atmosphere as well as free WiFi and wine tastings and a pizza evening. The reception staff were very friendly and the Lois and showers very nice. We walked into Riquewihr for an evening meal (25 min) when it was less crowded. We also cycled to Kaysersberg.
came to this site after looking at some others just over the border in Germany. the campsite is excellent, large flat pitches, choice of which pitch you wanted, even in early June it was quite busy but always felt quiet. bread to order the night before was good. showers and toilets good but if the site was really busy might not be enough ? no seat on toilets ( men\'s) but some on those in the smaller ladies toilet block. short walk to riquewihr with loads of nice restaurants and lots of walks / cycle routes though the local vineyards directly out of the campsite. low proportion of Brits and French - site very popular with Germans and Dutch in particular ... and what a friendly bunch they were too! The storks, however, stole the show.
Excellent site in a splendid wine making region, each village prettier than the next. Good quality, free WIFI and NO tourist tax charges. What more can I say!
Great site! Bit rustic and natural but everything clean. Very close to the most beautiful villages and great walks. Pitches were a good size. We were entertained every day with visiting storks! We would go again, such a lovely area of France with so much to see and do. Free WIFI!
