We stayed at this site for 2 nights to visit Split. The site was very full but facilities always remained good. Our pitch was comfortable and pleasantly shady. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Last night of 18 nights here before heading off north again. This campsite is really excellent. The pitches have a choice of sun & shade & are large with water & waste almost on every pitch or adjacent one. The facilities are cleaned all day long & the restaurant is good. The staff are helpful and engaging. Split is easy to reach by bus. Cycling is not really safe on the roads & the only off road path runs along side the adjacent river. The local area is nice with plenty of places to eat, Kash grill recommended, and there is a tourist info kiosk close by. Plenty of small supermarkets within walking distance & bakeries including on site. You can do organised travel tours here with ease if you wished. The new pool opened last week & wellness centre is ongoing. Very busy site at this time with many Camping overnight on cad park awaiting daily departures. Really enjoyed the relaxing here.
Nice campsite with plenty of good choices. Helpful staff and efficient reception. Easy access to Split. Will visit again.
Our first problem was finding the site, very poor signage,we saw other people with the same problem. The pitches are mostly a good size with varying shade, the pitch we were allocated unfortunately had a hydrant and electric box in strange places, but still left a decent sized pitch for our 8 MTV caravan. Our daughter is disabled and there is only one shower block with disabled facilities. All pitches have drainage and water, the supermarket is well stocked even though it is small. Excellent for visiting split,we didn't use the bus as reception didn't know if it was accessible. Only used the restaurant for drinks,we were going to have a pizza one Sunday, but we're told it would be a 2 hr wait, needless to say we didn't order. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall we would use this site again, mainly because of its proximity to split.
The only reason for staying here is its proximity to Split. If you don't mind camping next to a busy and noisy building site, with their vehicles going in and out of the same entrance as the campsite, then stay here.
Can't fault the site itself, just a lot of road noise from nearby busy road, especially motor bikes. We found it difficult to find! Drove past it. Note it is behind a small supermarket immediately after end of divide island in the road, after football stadium. Staff extremely friendly, facilities very clean, with hot water. Wifi free. Beaches peeble, can swim. New wellness centre including pool due to open very soon when we were there. Pretty site. Bus to Split closeby.
Great site, clean and friendly. Right on private beach. Restaurant food was great, would stay again. Easy access via bus to Split.
Well laid out alongside its own beach, with decent sized pitches most of which are part screened by scrubby hedges and shaded by a variety of trees. Helpful, informative reception staff. Sizeable bar and restaurant perched on the end of a small peninsula. Facilities modern, spacious and plentiful and kept immaculately clean at all times. Novel system for showers, which involves a bracelet that you touch against a screen on the way in: this allows you up to three 7 minute showers a day - not quite long enough for the more thorough hair washers amongst us. Good, regular bus service to/from centre of Split, which made a day exploring Split very easy. An excellent campsite, but not quite perfect: eg, in our otherwise excellent facilities block, half the washing up sinks aren't supplied hot water (why?). Also, there seems to be no systematic replacement of broken lights. But the main drawback is traffic noise from nearby main road. Motorbikes accelerating away from the lights make a particularly intrusive racket - you can live with the noise ok but not exactly forget it.
Good bus service from campsite into Split. Clean facilities. Good Nearby supermarkets. New wellness centre due to open in 2017. Dog friendly beach. Very shallow sea.
This is a great site, we loved it so much we ended up staying for 10 days. Ok so admittedly the last 2 were not planned as the wind was so bad, the main motorways heading north were closed, but we didn’t mind at all. Although the entrance for the site is easy to miss, (we went flying past it), once in, there is easy access to most areas of the site. The pitches are of varying sizes. Due to having an 8m caravan, it was essential that we had a large pitch. We were spoilt for choice, but within a few days, when there was a music festival on in Split, there was not a pitch available. There is a dog beach at the furthest point away from reception, which was fantastic. There you could let your dog off the lead and all the dogs were swimming together. Superb. The restaurant on site was excellent , as was the bar. The toilets and showers were immaculate and although an odd system where you have a bracelet that issues you with 3 showers a day, you soon get the hang of it. This same bracelet can be loaded up with money to use the laundry facilities too. The staff were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
