Plitvice Holiday Resort ***

Three site is undergoing redevelopment. We had a choice of any of the pitches. The newly developed ones are excellent with all services. It was quiet when we visited in September. It\'s a very nice high quality site

We stayed here 3 nights will visiting Plitvice. The camping is nicely layed out. The toilets and showers are new but some of the hooks for hanging your clothes are already broken off. At the swimming pool you have to pay for the beds which i find not ok for a small size camping. The toilets at the bar and the floor are not allways clean. Staff allways ready to help you.

We used this solely to visit Plitvice lakes. Bus from site useful although used car the second day to get in earlier. Hot water in showers and washing up erratic, showers and toilets stretched at peak times. Pitches a little random and some not obvious. Was very busy when we stayed in mid May, get there early!

We stayed here on on route to the Plitvice Lakes. The staff were very friendly & helpful, but from our experience, that's as far as it goes. There are only very few levelish pitches, with most of them being on rough tracks or very slopping. There is a very busy road nearby that can be annoying if you find yourself pitched near it. There are only a few showers for the men & the same for the women, which is nowhere enough when the site is busy as it seems to be most of the time. We showered in the evening, but the water kept going from warm to cold, with the light on a sensor keep going on & off. The wifi was virtually non existent where we were pitched. Not a site I would rush back to.

We enjoyed our visit here and especially our visit to Plictvice Lakes, what a fantastic day. This was made easier with a service bus pickup from the entrance at 9.00 am and return at either 3.30 or 5.00pm. We initially picked a pitch well away from the services which was not a good idea, there are some that are close to a busy main road so keep away! The next pitch was close to toilets and access to wifi ...much more suitable The restaurant by the entrance was really great and fantastic value. Try the ice creams there!

Very nice camp site if you pick the right pitch! Some are far away from toilets and and close to the main road. However there are very nice pitches close to amenities and wifi. Bus at 9.00 to the lakes. Excellently restaurant with cheap prices. Please try the ice cream!

We stayed here for two nights, originally we were going to stay longer but we soon discovered that for us the only attraction was the Plitvice Lakes. There were not enough facilities for the number of pitches,there was no drinking water available apart from in the sanitary block, the swimming pool was small, and most of the piches were sloping and small. The only good thing for us was there was a courtesy bus that took you to the lakes at 9am.

The pitch was close to the national road, very noisy, so it was very difficult to sleep. Sloping pitch and no pitches in the shade to change. In addition, we were invaded by thousand of tiny insects in our tents. Very bad souvenir, never come again.

Mooie camping dicht bij de Plivits-meren. Leuk voor korte overnachting en zeker een kanotocht boeken op de camping. GEWELDIG!

A very fine camping. The only things that could be better were not always the avalilability of hot water in the shower and only one place to get water, at the washing facility at the entrance. Nice surroundings for walking, atb and quad driving and of course Plitvice Jezera. A one week stay cloud be long, most of the campers stay 2-3 nights.
