This site is possibly the best we’ve stayed at with regards to the views from our pitch. The family owners are exceptional in their attention to your wishes & needs. The pitches are set on level grass of excellent quality, unusual for a camping site. You can cycle safely with ease on the R3 cycle way and if you are very fit, or have electric mountain bikes, you can also climb the sides of the valley. Lots of walking opportunities, especially if you have a car. Adjacent restaurant provided good food albeit some items on the menu were not available when we ate there. Lots of supermarkets in Kotschach. Highly recommended campsite. We came over the Plockenpass with ease in our 8m Motorhome to get there.

A great find, this site. Very friendly and helpful owners, a nice location on the outskirts of a small town with all the usual facilities, nice bar/restaurant just next door. Modern heated toilet/shower block. Pitches vary in size and there are plenty of trees. Lots to do in the area if you like outdoors activities. A great dog walk by the river is just 1-2 minutes away. Excellent fast wifi (small charge).
