Travelling party: Seniors

We have just spent 6 delightful days at Camping Camp Redon which occupies a lovely rural location and at this time of year is surrounded by fields of sunflowers. The relatively elevated position of the site ensured that there were cooling breezes, even in the recent heatwave.
This area of Tarn has so much to offer and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the wonderful Albi and some of the Medieval bastide towns such as Najac, Bruniquel and of course Cordes-sur-Ciel. Paula and Ben, the new owners (since September 2024) could not have been more friendly and hospitable; a delivery of fresh bread or croissants to the caravan each morning was a really nice touch. There is a bar on site and good home-cooked food is available most nights of the week. The pool is a lovely place to cool-off after a day of sight-seeing.
There is shade on most pitches and there are glorious sunsets from the site. For those who enjoy peace and tranquility in a rural setting, with the occasional visits from the family’s hens then this site is to be highly recommended.

Excellent pre-arrival communication and a warm welcome from the great hosts. Lovely site with private pitches, separated by healthy hedges, with lovely view of miles of open countryside. Toilet block, although a little dated, perfectly clean. Both Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi well worth a visit. Our stay was sadly cut short due to poor weather at the start of April, but we would highly recommend Camp Redon.

Superb campsite…. Lovely welcoming people, We see , as a family…. they work very hard , to maintain the terrain. Facilities are cleaned to a high standard, and food at Bar/Restaurant was fantastic. swim pool very nice . Great Value !! We returned after 10 years…. Better now, than our previous visit.
….Well worth coming too….

this is a lovely friendly campsite in the middle of the countryside. Facilities are good pictures are lovely surrounded by hedges. There is a bar and restaurant but it wasn’t open when we were there the weather was awful and so the site was quiet.

This camping site is stunning , the staff was outstanding they could not have been more helpful. the site was spotless, the toilet was cleaned every day. Bread was delivered to your pitch every morning.

A lovely site well cared for by the Dutch owners who were both helpful and friendly. We missed the table d’hotel which was only on Wednesday night when we were there but the dish of the day served every night was excellent.
A beautiful area to explore with some great country around. We will definitely be back in the future.
