One of only a few sites open nearby, situated on the outskirts of stunning (Roman) Caceres - easy cycle/walk into town or by bus from in front of site. Individual private toilet/shower cabin with water for each big, level pitch. Staff at reception very pleasant. Pool closed, but excellent restaurant open daily for great value local produce. Good shop with essentials as well as fresh bread. Good WiFi across whole site. Excellent stopover for a few days if heading for/from ferries.

Staff efficient, en-suite brilliant idea, nice shaded pitches, swimming pool huge and properly deep. take your own chairs to sit there. Nice bike track to Cáceres either over the hill behind the site which is a bit rough, or beside the road.

if I could give 6 stars for toilet facilities I would! Many pitches have their own bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. lightly shaded. well kept. pleasant staff. my pitch was flat enough for no blocks and my van is small but quite a few needed evening up. bus stop at campsite on weekends into Càceres and weekdays it’s a short walk away. Lovely old town to visit and I had a walk on the lane next to the campsite onto a hilltop scrubland. lots of bird life and insect life. Azure magpies awesome

Camping Caceres is a nice low cost campsite off peak using the ACSI discount card. Good size pitches, own private toilet & shower on the pitch. Lovely swimming pool. Weekday bus service L5 across the footbridge in front of the stadium to the centre of Caceres The old town is definitely worth a visit. Plenty of inexpensive cafes & restaurants scattered around the old town and in the main square (Placa Major)

Places to stay do not get much better than this. From being greeted by two of the happiest reception staff that I have ever met, a spacious pitch under the trees with it's own private shower room, to a wonderful, large, pristine swimming pool, to friendly bar staff, to bar food that had a quite limited menu, but was more than adequate and very cheap (8 euros for a paella!), and for only 21 euros a night.
The pool and bar are open to the locals who were noisily Spanish, with well behaved children. It made the evenings far more lively.
The pitches are spaced out on different levels, plenty of tree cover, loads of bird life, nice and rustic.
The bus into Caceres, 1.10 euros per person each way, was only a five minute walk across the road bridge. a ten minute ride into the town centre.
One of the best sites that we have stayed on in the three months that we have been travelling through France and Spain.
Definitely gets our full recommendation.

this has to be one of the very best campsites, all the pitches have there own shower and toilet facilities.
the campsite pool is the best where we have stayed and the bar restaurant and shop close to the pool area, all around the reception area, I think that the reception people are first class friendly and welcoming so much so we are staying a few days more.whats more lots to see and and overnight stop you will not get the huge benefits of staying longer, a four night stay 3 days charge unbelie

This is the only campsite in Caceres but had been recommended. However, current travellers beware. Despite high temperatures and being very busy this weekend the pools were not available and won’t be for a week or more. Furthermore there does not seem to be any curfew in place to respect travellers peace and quiet. Loud thumping music could be heard until 6am although there was a difference of opinion as to whether this was on site or next door. Children were running around by our van till almost midnight and we were astonished to see them playing with the gym equipment unsupervised when we left the bar at 10.30.
When I went to reception to raise my concerns the receptionist was extremely rude, insisted none of it happened (despite another guest saying the same thing) and flatly refused to give me the managers name! It was only after my insistence that she abruptly wrote the email address of reservations and refused to speak with me further. So much for friendly staff!

A dump! Appalling customer service, the meal we had in the restaurant was truly appalling, cold, tasteless and ridiculously overpriced!
