forget the last review. the campsite closes at the end of October! who reviews a closed campsite??? lovely staff, facilities excellent and even though busy got a choice of pitch. beach literally 10 mins walk away. beautiful scenery.

Travelling party: Couple

The campsite looked closed on arrival with the gates all shut even though we had a reservation.
Entered anyway and phoned, told to wait to be checked in that afternoon as no staff onsite. Did not see anyone at all for two days. Toilets all locked up except unsex disabled. Cold showers and wash up area.
Best if they just closed for the winter. No cafe or reception.
How did they pass Acsi inspection?
Run down and unfriendly site.

Travelling party: Couple

We liked this site and thought it was great value compared to some of the more expensive sites we had been on.
It was a five minute walk to the beautiful long sandy beach, possibly a ten minute walk back up the hill! Lots of surfers were there and not many swimmers due to the big waves. We did go for a dip and it was quite exhilarating.
We were lazy and drove to the lighthouse when we left the site instead of walking there. It was worth the drive.
We didn\'t use the bar/restaurant, sports facilities or swimming pool so can\'t comment.
