Medium sized camp site with predominantly seasonal pitches, separate field for tourism, 100 metres from the rocky coastline. The beach is 1000 metres away. Free shuttle to Barcelona all season (not free in July and August). CampingCard ACSI is not accepted during the weekend of the Grand Prix racing at the Montmelo circuit.

Middelgrote camping met leuk zwembad (28°) en peuterbad, gratis ligstoelen en redder aanwezig. Heel klein winkeltje met brood (vers), frisdrank, fruit en groenten (niet al te vers). Zeer kleine kampeerplaats met heel veel stof. Goede aparte babyroom maar (weinig plaats om verzorgingskussen te leggen). Gevaarlijk om met de fiets of te voet naar Mataro te rijden (zeer drukke autoweg en spoorlijn). Klein strand voor de camping met heel klein stukje zand en rotsen. Strand in mataro is wel de moeite en ligt op 1 km van de camping. Leuke kinderboerderij met paardjes, ezels, schapen, eenden en konijntjes. Veel vaste staanplaatsen met caravan (hierdoor veel lawaai en drukte in het weekend). Kinderen onder 2jaar gratis. Mogelijkheid om bus naar barcelona te nemen = georganiseerd door de camping . Goede electriciteit en net verzorgd sanitair.

Deze camping ligt aan een heel drukke weg, je kan er wel een taxi huren die je naar Barcelona brengt maar de prijs valt wel tegen. Op ongeveer 1300 meter is er wel een stationnetje die je naar Barcelona city vervoert. Op de camping zelf is er niet veel te beleven. Wat voor mij positief was men kan er een Wifikaart kopen en de verbinding was optimaal.

De plaatsen zijn erg krap. Waarschijnlijk door de kinderboerderij is er veel overlast van vliegen, dit maakt het buiten zitten onaangenaam. De camping ligt aan een zeer drukke weg waardoor het niet mogelijk is om met de fiets weg te gaan. Ook lopen is eigenlijk geen optie want dat moet over een zandpadje heel dicht langs het spoor. Hierdoor is het met de camper geen fijne camping.

De kampeerplaats was prachtig gelegen met uitzicht op zee en het waren heerlijke schaduwrijke plaatsen onder moerbeibomen. De plaatsen waren echter zeer klein. In het hoogseizoen sta je "boven op elkaar". In het voorseizoen hadden wij hier echter geen last van. De camping was in het weekend erg druk met erg lawaaierige Spanjaarden en erg veel jeugd. Buiten het weekend was het echter een prima camping. Ik zou wel naar de camping terug gaan, maar nooit in het hoogseizoen! We hebben overigens met veel plezier op de camping gestaan, mede vanwege de gunstige ligging.

We zijn hier juni 2007 geweest. Heel goed systeem voor registratie van de kampeerders. Aan de hand van de kentekens, die gescand worden kom je binnen. Geen gezeur met pasjes e.d.
