Peaceful camp site located on a river and close to the sea. Lovely level pitches with ample shade. The camp site has its own large swimming pool. A good base for visiting Pisa, Lucca and other places of interest. A helicopter base is located nearby the camp site.

A12 Genua-Livorno, exit Sarzana, direction Lerici. 3 km further on follow signs to Bocca di Magra (S432). Camp site clearly marked after Ameglia sign. Small entry to the camp site.

Het peersoneel van deze camping was niet erg vriendelijk en had weinig kennis over de omgeving. Folder-materiaal was in het geheel niet aanwezig. Bij de receptie hadden ze zelfs geen trein tijden om naar de Cinque Terre te kunnen reizen. Dit hebben we zelf op het station (via een gast) gekopieerd. Dit hoort toch eigenlijk gewoon aan het begin van het seizoen al op de receptie te liggen? het enige leuke was dat je heel snel contact had met de andere gasten. Dit kwam omdat iedereen zelf maar moest uitzoeken wat er te doen was in de omgeving. We vonden het ook heel raar dat we meer moesten betalen, terwijl we een ACSI kaart hadden. Helaas was het niet de beste camping deze vakantie, maar de omgeving maakte veel goed.

Wij zijn hier geweest voor een overnachting op 19 juni 2009 het waren meestal te kleine plaatsen onder bomen. Het was er vreselijk lawaaierig in de nacht de aanvoer weg is een verschriking voor een beetje camper, maar het aller ergste is dat wij zijn belazerd bij het afrekenen. Ik kreeg een rekening, maar bij thuiskomst was er meer van mijn rekening afgeschreven met het pinnen. Dus mensen: kijk uit.

De plaatsen zijn zeer klein en liggen onder de bomen. Het sanitair valt zeer tegen klein en is vaak niet schoon. Er is weinig gras op de plaats en zeer smal om er te komen (aanrijroute).

Elke juni maand komen ongeveer 30 zeer grote caravans aan van Nederlandse en Duitse kampers. Ze intimideren de campinggasten, omdat ze bij elkaar willen staan ("ga je nog niet weg?"). De beheerder doet of het normaal is.

De camping is goed en netjes alleen de plaatsen zijn een beetje krap. Verder een mooie omgeving leuke histhistorische plaatsen in de omgeving strand op ongeveer 3 kilometer van de camping.
