Signposted about 1.5 km west of Imperia (San Remo side) on the SS1 'Via Aurelia' . The camp site is located on the northern side of the road. Or when approaching on the A10: exit Imperia Ovest.

Als vriendelijke camping die hele jaar open wil zijn, Nederlands sprekend en dan 1 douche en 1 wc open hebt, waarvan de douche maar 2 uur per dag warm water geeft, als je al een muntje hebt gekocht, dan kun je beter gesloten blijven. In de gids staat ook dat kunt betalen maar helaas, het bijna vriendelijke echtpaar dat op de camping past moest nog zoeken naar wisselgeld. Eén voordeel(tje) ze hadden een goede wifi verbinding maar helaas maar 1 kaartje van een half uur tegen bijbetaling. Dat lijkt ons inziens legale diefstal. In de buurt zijn de overige campings helaas niet veel beter.

Wij hadden gereserveerd met een groep van 18 caravans voor de periode van 29 mei na tot 2 juni 12:00 uur. De gereser-veerde plaatsen waren klein tot zeer klein en lagen verspreid over de gehele camping. Bij het merendeel van de plaatsen kon de auto niet bij de caravan en moest worden gestald op een hoger liggend moeilijk bereikbaar weiland tussen tentjes die daar later neergezet werden (de camping was overvol). De leiding van de camping en het personeel waren onvriendelijk en weinig bereid om oplossingen te vinden. De foto's in de ACSI gids wijken af van de werkelijkheid. Het geheel maakte een overzorgde indruk. Na heel sterk aandringen werden er gratis douchemunten verstrekt, ondanks dat dat eerder was toegezegd. De ervaringen met het sanitair waren wisselend; soms werkte de warm-watervoorziening naar behoren, op een ander moment kwam er geen warm water. Een stortbak voor het chemisch toilet en een urinoir waren enkele dagen verstopt. Kortom: geen camping om aan te bevelen.

Geen echte aanrader, zelfs niet als doorgangsamping! Quasi ontoegankelijk voor campers boven de 7 meter en grote caravans! Alles (met uitzondering van het sanitair ) lag er onverzorgd/verwaarloosd bij.

Graag maak ik melding dat de camping zoals in het boek omschreven niet juist is. Bij het lezen in de ACSI-gids denk je aan een mooie camping, maar wij vonden het geheel anders. Bij aankomst op deze camping was er al niemand aanwezig en maakte het op ons een onverzorgde indruk en met een camper al zéér moeilijk toegenkelijk. Een inspectie is volgens ons op zijn plaats.

Geen echte passage-camping: teveel oude (geheel of ten dele) vervallen vaste bouwsels, slechte lay-out. In mei 2009 was de bar/restaurant in wanorde (a.g.v. brand of cycloon?) en gesloten; goed sanitair (douche op douche-munten)
