The toilets are cleaned twice a day. The beach is nice and near by. The staff and owner are kind and always willing to help. The places are big. We had a lovely holiday.

This location is perfect for beach goers. Other than that, think twice. There are no trees anywhere except the perimeter. The pitches are smallish and all the ones closest to the entrance are caravans that stay for the season and owners who visit on weekends. There is one toilet and shower block to speak of and it’s not enough for the hundreds of pitches. The taps are not mixed and must be held to get water. No way to wash hands in warm water. Only one hand dryer in the whole place. The toilets are a mess! Not once did I come in there and find a toilet with only clear water in it. The problem is that after flushing once, the toilet does not recover for up to ten minutes so it can be flushed again. Even coming into the block at 3 am, all toilets needed to be flushed! I cannot tell you when the block was cleaned as I always came in to find bits of gravel, dead leaves, muddy prints and bits of toilet paper on the floor. WiFi was non-existent even by reception. I reported it and was told it was working fine. Not a place I would return to.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon and due to the weather it was incredibly busy.
Nearly a 50% discount for ACSI which makes it a really cheap night out.
Lots of seasonal caravans on Field A which you pitch in between. Massive field for tents which was really bustling with families.
Staff very helpful and quick service. Toilets ok fair bit of grass carted in and no mops or buckets to clean the showers. No hairdryers. Doesn\'t bother me but some people get upset about such things. Short walk to beach and independent shops plus Co-OP and Tesco Express. The Sunday was a different affair so quiet and relaxed. The tent field occupants all went home. I would go Sunday to Thursday for quieter camping. Definitely would return.

Great campsite. At busy times you need to get to the site early as you cannot book. We ended up having to go to a non electric pitch, as all electric were taken

Great campsite within 10 minute walk of a lovely unspoilt beach. Ideal if you\'re not into loud and commercial places. Will be returning.

We stayed here on and off for many weeks, through April/May, while visiting an ill relative in Surrey. Although most of our stays were quiet being mid week, the site wasn’t too noisy at weekends even though it was obviously busier. The whole site is well maintained and cared for with spotlessly clean facilities. Local shops, restaurants and take-aways are nearby in the village. The staff are friendly and so helpful. They waited for us one night when we couldn’t get to them until after 10.0pm. Highly recommended.
